Thank you everyone for joining us in our mini landscaping adventure! Comment below your favorite takeaway from today's Wooly Wednesday!
The bee fairy.
It looks so darn cute ...
I'm still working on mine, love it and I learned so much today. I'll rewatch this as I go along. Now I'm not so chicken to try a landscape!!! YAY!
Didn't wake up early enough for the live show (I'm in Australian), but just watched the replay... And of course another fantastic and informative show. Thanks Marie
Sorry I missed you on WW! I like the way you explained to add contrast and shading, Thanks for being awesome
Love your needle felted projects.....it relaxes me! From Truro Nova Scotia (:
I am so happy to see you mixing the MC1 and the Bergschaf
Love this landscape. Hi Marie from Woodland Washington
Wanting to try my hand at landscaping. Thanks for your tips.
Always look forward to watching replays. Just got into 2D. Really enjoy it
I missed the first part but the last part was so good that I am now watching the first part. Thanks Marie.
This is my favorite Wooly Wednesday! I love seeing how you blend the colors - this is just what I needed to see. I was trying to only use the colors as they are and I am encouraged to blend more. So helpful and inspirational!
I feel so giddy with new colors of fiber!
So Marie you make it so easy ...
As always Marie makes it look easy but also is good a breaking it down into small steps so the rest of us with less experience stand a chance. She has a gift for inspiring our individual creativity not just a ridgid tutorial. Thank You!
What a kind note, thank you, Patricia!
Once again WW does not disappoint! I couldn't watch live this week but have enjoyed the replay. 2-D landscapes are my new felting love so this has fallen right in line with what I must enjoy doing right now. Will be ordering the pattern for sure! Needless to say I'd love to see more landscape tutorials!
missed the live show but super excited for this!!!
I really needed this lesson to help me do 2d pictures. It covers so much I need to know. Thankyou
Very interesting start Marie
Can't wait to show my 4h group this..it's so very cute
I've been experimenting in miniatures myself. Loved this show!
I absolutely LOVE the colors used in this picture. I'm more into 3D things but I can see these colors in them as well as maybe actually doing a 2D picture. Sorry I missed the live!
I like the great tip of the square to get an edge
As usual, you have so many helpful hints. I’m excited for next week.
That was great lesson ...can't wait for next week.. Thank you
So glad you record these....
Good morning and greetings from Stony Plain, Alberta Canada
These little landscapes are so cool! I need to try this with some of my photos. I had no idea Omnigrids came in small sizes.
Marie is the Bob Ross of wool! Quick work and giving of artistic freedom...
just watched the replay, and I am so impressed with how much detail you can get into such a tiny space. My mind is exploding with all the possibilities of different landscapes to do. Top of my list is my daughter's wedding venue - obviously it was outdoors. Thank you so much Marie for all of your inspiration, and excellent instruction!
This is such a fun project
I teach a 4h group and they have loved to do zbutterflys, flowers and even a horse..Love this so much!
Is the t racer available?
@@jennifermcmullen_pearson4783 We don't understand the question...
I like the way you outline using needle to help decide tree height
Wonderful tutorial. I can’t wait to make one
I purchased a thrift shop frame, and this one will fit perfectly. Love it.
Had to watch the replay this week. It was wonderful, as usual! So many good tips! The mini landscape is a great way to practise the techniques shown. I always learn something from WW!
It never occurred to me that you could blend two different weights/coarseness of fibers! So many more blending options....
Just finished watching this tutorial and really enjoyed it. I have ordered the kit and am looking forward to giving it a go. I am a relatively new needle felter and am so inspired by what I am seeing not only in these LF video tutorials, but also in the FB community! People are so talented.
Very interesting art form. I just heard about felting this past year. I think I will give it try
I do traditional book binding ~ but recently I’ve been 👀 for a new medium method for my covers ~ now watching this video has inspired me ~ you can now guess what I’m going to be purchasing ~ I have many designs on paper from when I do my enamel work ~ and these would work perfectly!! 👀 on line at the cost of felting items I have realised that it’s not a very expensive hobby either ~ 😎 ~ Thank you so much for the opportunity to learn this craft and for the new inspiration!!❤
Благодарю Вас за прекрасный мк. Применю его в новом проекте, сваляю сумку с таким декором.
lovely as always
I’m glad you asked that.
This is exactly what I was looking for I wanted to know how to do landscapes with belting and I've never done something before you're awesome
I can see making one of these as a special gift card....
Love that jellyfish. Wow that dragon and picture.
I enjoyed the session and I’m doing the finishing touches on mine. It’s like painting with watercolors
I’ve always loved the 3D projects but these landscapes are changing my mind!❤️
Accidentally came across this_ new to felting just today
This was a fantastic tutorial, I haven’t been felting in awhile and this was a perfect refresher for me 😊 thank you
Creatings lines, blending, perspective and composition in general. Thank you for this tutorial.
I enjoyed the session, remind me a painting with watercolors. I’m just putting the finishing touches on mine.
So happy I found you 💗
love the idea for the guide so you don't have to use an iron. This way you can start a project even with out electricity.
I enjoyed the session and I feel like it’s doing watercolors. I’m finishing touches on mine!
Awesome show as always, love these little landscapes. Thank you so much for your tips and tricks!
Great show as always and can't wait for next week for Hidden Lake Part 2! This is one I MUST get! Love the colors in this piece and it is just so cool to see how it evolves and becomes so lifelike with shading and placement as you go along. Marie, you always say that you aren't a landscape artist, but your pieces are always so lovely! Thanks as always for a very helpful video! :)
Thank you Marie and Staff for this very sweet informational video. Great tips and it's nice to have little projects that can be done quickly with big impact. I'm thinking time to start some winter scenes during the hot summer would be super fun and prepare for the holidays. Always love watching the show!
Love to see these new fibers and I'm anxious to give them a try. Could you do a demo of the colors and how they compare to MC1?
Gee I need to win all sorts of colors. 🙏😀 Even fall colors ,and blues sky type. I want to try my hand at fox and dogs. I just honestly need a boost.
Hi from Aberdeen Scotland x
Great teaching video. Thank you.
Hi from London, Ontario! Stumbled in and happy to see your tutorial!
OMGosh I missed it, I just bought the bigger kit the other day, loving the tutorial :)
Great show, Marie!! I've been watching it and working on my first mini and the small size means I'll actually probably finish it before next week! 🤣 I loved your fold over tip for the edges and wish I had known when I was shopping over the weekend to get one of those little quilting measuring thingies. Also am trying your outline technique. Love how one can blend that out with the other colors but it adds the perfect depth. Thanks so much for another fabulous WW! P.S. I adore my Wow mat! 😁😘
So happy to hear you like the WOW Pad, Donna and we can't wait to see your landscape :)
Super cute!
