Excellent demonstration, but wrong layout. There is about half a liter of old oil in the oil filter housing that has not drained into the engine sump. First, you need to remove the oil filter, to drain the old oil into the sump, and then drain everything into the container. Everything else is nicely demonstrated.
Anything is possible I suppose but that could only happen if you let it get to that point in the first place where it has sludge. I'd normally empty the oil and refill it with 7 litres of diesel fuel and let it idle for 1 minute before draining it and refill with oil. Too many people would cry if I done that on video though 🤣
Hi what year is your crafter van I have the same engine as yours and mine is a 2016 model was going to do an oil change some time next week and was wondering if the oil filter is in the same place thanks
thank you!!! have been changing the oil filter without removing the air filter first. so much easier now. thank you!!!
Glad it helped!
Thanks mate. Video appreciated.
Always good to see exactly what you need to do first when you're not a mechanic and just a DIY owner.
Got to service the 1 vehicle that earns you your money. Great job.
Definitely 👍🏻
Thanks great vid
Glad you enjoyed it

wow great mileage and great video
So where is the "Location Change" ? I didn't see that in the video.
so it is safe to use engine flush on the tdi engines, was told it can dislodge the sludge and block oil passages 👍
