Duck egg collection and how to spot rotten eggs

In this video we look at my duck egg harvest, and what to do when she's been hiding them from you. This duck is super sneaky, and I'm allergic to duck eggs, which makes for what we see here today.

Thank you so much for the information. I have been collecting duck eggs too but I couldn't figure out what was a good egg from a bad one. She started laying about a week ago, I don't know when but my son noticed the 6 eggs that were in the duck house. Thanks so much for the helpful video, friend! I have four girls and I cannot seem to keep up with all the eggs they produce. Tonight, there was one in their pen after I had already collected four from their coop, and I turn their straw every morning. So somebody reeeally outdid herself today.

So the ones that sink can they still hatch?

Not necessarily, the ones that sink are not rotten, it has to be a fertile egg to hatch out, this is just a video on how to tell if eggs are good or bad. If you want to know more about hatching eggs look up candling eggs.
