I m thinking to buy jeep compass but very confused over which model should I buy(Limited (O) or (Longitude (O) )

+Sai Varun Chanagala The Longitude ups the premium quotient while the Longitude (O) enhances the experience further with the addition of a 7-inch Uconnect touchscreen with support for CarPlay and Android Auto. Dual-zone climate control has also been added along with projector headlamps in the Limited (O). In our books, the Longitude (O) is the Compass to go for if you want this SUV.
Jeep Compass Limited/Limited (O) - It is the only variant that offers an automatic option - a 7-speed dual-clutch auto with the 1.4-litre turbo petrol. This is also the only variant which gets a 4x4 option offered with a 2.0-litre diesel/6-speed manual transmission. So, if you wish to go off-roading, the Limited/Limited (O) diesel 4x4 is a no-brainer. Besides, it’s the only variant to offer six airbags!
The top-spec Limited (O) additionally offers High-intensity discharge (HID) headlamps and dual-tone paint scheme (black painted roof).

I want to buy jeep compass sports model and my monthly running is 1000 -1200 km, I am confused whether I should buy Jeep Compass sport 1.4 litre manual petrol or 2 litre manual sports diesel . Kindly help.
+Sujata Ghosh If you are traveling less than 50-60km a day, opt for a petrol car instead of a diesel. With the extra Rs 1-1.50 lakh spent on a diesel purchase, you can actually drive a similar petrol car for as many as two years! So, do your math carefully. A diesel usually makes sense if you are driving above 60/70km a day.
Why don't someone show us the maintenance and servicing workshop for jeep
The features are so "limited" considering a price point at the sell it..... Jeep should b considered as an "option"..
Limited or limited optional which is better??
+gnani9 The premium paid for the 2.0 Limited Option gets two feature - HID headlights along with dual-tone roof. Here, we would suggest you to pick for 2.0 Limited as it offer more value for money.

+Vamsi krishna Nuthalapati Consider getting the Longitude (O) as it offers good value for money. The decision to buy the automatic is up to your needs. It will add a lot of convenience to your drive but will also be more expensive. We also have to wait and see what variants it will be offered in.

In diesel trim, 2.0 Longitude Option and in petrol 1.4 Limited is equipped with it.
So still now no variants with sunroof + Automatic?

CarDekho thanks sir .. Budget between 17 to maximum 20 lacs. Fuel petrol , transmission manual , brand Hyundai , Honda , ford only . For segment i am still confused between a sedan and suv ... sedan looks very good and a suv is a very strong car ... however a car for our family is important only for weekly drives not for everyday use purpose , specific features traction control , electronic stability control , hill hold assist , airbags including side ...sir i know that I can't get all these specific features in a car so guide me sir with your experience ...you are free to choose between a sedan and a suv ....thanks sir 🙂🙂
+Abhinaba Nath As per the details, you can look for Toyota Yaris or Hyundai Elantra in Sedan or Jeep Compass or Hyundai Tucson in SUV's. They meet up most of your requirements.
Is sunroof available in optional kit?
+Renganath Palraj The Compass' feature list in India doesn't include a sunroof but it's available as an optional fitment for the UK market. At this price bracket, a sunroof would have added a bit more flair to the Compass’ overall package. Not only does its arch rival, the Mahindra XUV500, has it, but even some of the less expensive cars like the Honda City, Honda WR-V and the upcoming Hyundai Verna have it.

+rahul khan Jeep Compass bahut acha option hain is price range me. Jeep India me apna dealership & service network increase kar rahe hai. Compass made-in-India product hai, spares ki shikayat nahi hogi.
Haan, ye jaroor keh sakte hai ki Hyundai ka service network bada hai Jeep ke comparison mai. Compass ek segment uppar hai Creta se, toh service thoda mehenga hoga. Resale ke baare me abhi kehna bohot mushkil hoga kyuki Compass abhi market mei kaafi nayi hai.

creta top end varient or jeep compass base trim?
+Christon Dcosta The base Jeep Compass Sport is priced very aggressively in the mid-sized SUV space. If you’re on a budget and want to join the Jeep bandwagon, this is the variant for you. The Sport trim doesn't skimp on safety either and offers almost all of the Compass' safety features, including ESC and TCS! But Jeep has missed out on some essentials such as rear-parking sensors and the AC is manual, which is disappointing for a car that’s priced over Rs 15 lakh. On the infotainment front, Jeep offers a 5-inch touchscreen in its base trim. It’s the same as in other markets but doesn’t offer support for Android Auto or Apple CarPlay.
On the other hand, Hyundai Creta SX(O) is the fully loaded, top-of-the-line variant of the Creta and gets a plethora of features including significant safety features. And a premium of over Rs 1.5 lakh for these features is amply justified in our books. So, if you don’t mind spending extra, we would suggest you to go for this variant considering the high level of safety and features it offers.
Ultimately, it boils down to your needs/wants.

+parth mehta The LED Taillamps and Signature LED Positions Lamps are available in Jeep Compass 1.4 Limited (upper than the base) whereas Jeep Compass 2.0 Longitude Option (diesel) comes with Signature LED Positions Lamps. On the other hand, from Jeep Compass 2.0 Limited Option consists of LED Taillamps and Signature LED Positions Lamps.

Jeep lower sport variant cost 70 lakh here in Nepal ( which is 50 Lakh INRS) … we can on;y dream of buying these cars ….fuck our corrupt government who charge 288% car tax/ Heavy annula road tax, and heavy insurance …..so that we have to think hundred time to buy one motorcycle.. car is just a dream for 95 % of population here
