Perfect! Kudos for creating this for us Premiere Elements users (not Pro). Had your video on pause while creating the new format and figured out the export myself. Working with Elements 15 Don't need Word, just CTRL+H to Replace in Notepad: replace 1920 with tempx replace 1080 with 1920 replace tempx with 1080
This is perhaps the most helpful RUclips video in existence. Thank you, kind person - we were at our wit's end trying to figure this out! You are the BEST! Thank you again!! :D
This is an excellent tutorial, and now I could make videos on Instagram without using the ungodly editors that phones have. Thank you very much for this. Even on my older version of Elements, it worked!
Hey, this was super helpful. I had this exact need. When you went to open the file in Notepad, I was like "Aaaaaaaah, of course". Glad that's all it takes!
Great tutorial, this really helped. One note is that you can do the "replace all" right in Notepad, no need to C/P over to another doc editor. Thanks for the help!
Amazing video! I did this with you step by step with Premiere Elements 2018 and it worked perfectly! I'm so excited, thank you so much for doing this video! Now I'm going to watch your video on how to edit vertical videos in Premiere!
Great job. 10K views yet 996 subscribers. This goes to show you the lack of appreciation for content creators, especially when there is excellent information like this. Best
@@TheIshExperience I added a link on my blog to this video, as I know there will be others wanting this. And managed to get my first IG reel done this way in half the time!
Thank you so much for going to the trouble of sharing this info with all of us!! I actually find Elements easier to edit with than Pro, and being able to make it work for vertical video is a game changer!!!
I have Adobe Elements 2018 and this worked for me. I opted for 1080X1080 but your tutorial is very versatile. 🙏Thank you so much for this as I would have never figured this out alone.👍
Just needed this application for a vert cell phone video. If you hadn't made this, which was extremely helpful, I wouldn't have been able to finish it. Again, thank you for your help. Blessings!
Thank you so much brother. You saved me so much time and frustration. I converted all my videos for the codec to work only to find out it was not compatible with the aspect ratio, which resulted in a choppy quality video. I had no idea what went wrong and thought it was the framerate. After watching your video, I created my own 9:16 ratio for premiere elements and inserted the video again. Just like magic, the ratio was fixed, no more wide box and the quality was the same as original source. Thank you thank you
😍🥰😘🙏THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I just cannot thank you enough! I thought I wouldn't be able to follow this but I COULD!!! All looking perfect! I will put the edited vertical videos onto YT soon. I will share your video on one of my YT groups. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!! PS I was so happy that I mentioned this video to Adobe.
@@TheIshExperience Hey Ish, it worked! I have the 2019 edition of Premiere. Do you know if there is a way to change the default text by editing the code as you did here? It gets tedious to change it for every heading I want to add. Thank you! 😊
All I could find was on the style tab you can right click a style and select set as default style. That will save you some time but you still have to change your font and height each time. When I do my headers I use Canva. I have a saved project in Canva for all my titles. When I'm finished my video I go into Canva edit my titles, download and drop it into premiere where I need it. It ends up looking much more professional than the default text in premiere and is faster IMO. I hope that helps.
Thankyou excellent tutorial I have an older version (before subscription) Elements 15. Worked like a charm my only issue was Adobe kept flagging a "access permission denied" in setting the folders but I found if you just forced them it saved just as your instructions. Great work thankyou for this tutorial.
Premiere Elements 2019 here, did the same to a different preset that I prefer using, as I work a lot in 60fps. Worked just fine as far as I can tell. Though when using text/titles, they appear kinda squished. Need an inherently extra wide font to look decent. Still, you've earned a like and subscribe, thank you for the knowledge 👍
thanks dude! very friendly voice and a great tip for something that was racking my brains. i'll be certain to check back for more elements tutorials! you the best!
Yeah I was racking my brains trying to figure it out too. Once I sorted it out I knew I had create this video to help others. Glad you got value you out of if. I'll def be posting more elements tutorials in the near future.
