I just like to see people react to Dan! I'd like to see your friend experience more of him. The thing is, it's so hard to begin to get a real sense of him because he's so versatile and wide-ranging. It's impossible to put a label on Dan.

What fun to watch this again with you! It is mind-blowing. isn't it? Now he has to try My Immortal. The Titanic song is My Heart Will Go On. Thanks for another reaction! Edited to add: Dan also loves Evanescence. Liking one doesn't mean you're being disloyal to the other ......I think that Dan's male voice brings something special to all the woman-fronted bands he covers, but both versions are great in their own ways.

Honestly, it’s not really fair to say who did it better IMO. The two versions are too different to compare them. I LOVE the original and I LOVE Dan’s version. But they make me feel very different things. Amy Lee’s original gives me the chills. Dan’s cover makes me want to throw shit. Both touch me emotionally, but very differently. Both are excellent. ❤️
Guest reactions can be cool but I don't think your friend is too interested in listening to Dan. He acts bored.

I fully agree with you! I appreciate your criticism. I actually spoke about that during my next live and asked people in the live what they thought of the guest experience and mainly people said it was good but for me personally I was speaking mainly about how I never knew how much goes into reactions before doing reactions lol and definitely a lot goes into it because if your not used to doing reactions then you get guests that don't really know what they're looking for or trying to experience during a reaction video!

you cant compare the 2, its totally different style, this is far better than the original..ive not heard anyone else say that the original was better...Dan is a metal singer, its not supposed to be like the original
I'm in my 70's now, so Amy stole the show in my younger years.. but now it is Dan's version that I play more often.. I think Amy would appreciate the updated version though...comparing is harsh as it is a female/male difference and Dan did all the different layers and put them together himself too..in his studio in his garage in Brazil.. Amy had a proper recording studio and backup with mixing desks etc so it was fine tuned. Dan updated this to reflect the changes over the years to music tastes, loud and proud.. please check out the fan project which Viking Reacts put together,, it is amazing. Maybe ask your guests just to like or dislike, pick out the differences in style or something like that. Amy Lee will always hold a place with me, but Dan is now my favourite pick me up version.

understood. your allowed to feel and have your opinion as I am as well! I have spoken about this before, but I don't put people in competition to down the other artist, I do it because it makes things more fun for me personally when coming across new music, sports, video games, work, literally anything in my life! but I understand other people's opinions as well!
@@evfamilyentSorry, but I thought reactors were supposed to react to how the individual artist performed the song. I get very tried of reactors comparing an artist to the original. I believe every artist deserves to be treated as an individual, but that’s just me.
