Dan is a wizard. As with many of his metalized versions, this is both very respectful to the original and at the same time a massive upgrade (in my opinion). So many different aspects of his voice are on display here, and I think it's a great arrangement and performance, much grittier and a bit ferocious. Thanks for your always interesting comments!

Dan could have been at a mil subscribers easily, but he does not do covers of songs where the lyrics aren’t positive and empower the listener. This is probably why it isn’t going as fast as it could. On the other hand… Dan is authentic and therefor happy with his work😊

To all those who say he sounds the same too much throughout his catalogue: any singer will do the same. It's what can build or ruin a musician. AC/DC, Metallica, Journey, Foreigner, Adelle, Celine, etc... they all sound somewhat the same throughout their music catalogues. My question to the haters: how many of the artists I named cross as many genres as Dan does? As to an artist's cover of a beloved original: people have been doing covers forever. It's a form of sincere appreciation. If the original isn't worth the effort, it doesn't get re-made by future artists and thus more likely to be lost to time. If you like the cover better, cool. If you don't, cool. Can you at least appreciate what the cover artist did? Dan does mostly covers, and I haven't heard a bad one yet, even his oldest stuff shows that he's had a talented voice for a long time which he has only improved on over time and lots of hard work and practice. Most of his covers honor the originals at the very least, and frequently surpass them. As to his original stuff with Fearless, and his creation of the Friday Night Tights theme song: it's awesome! I would like to clarify why I was upset with your last reaction to Dan. First, the complaint wasn’t that I didn’t like your comparison to the original, that’s your opinion and I am OK with that. It was that you constantly said you liked the original better throughout the entire song without giving Dan the chance to finish. Second, you repeatedly asked your guest if he like the original better, it was like you were prodding him to agree with you. Finally, your guest seemed totally uninterested in Dan or the song. I have been a subscriber to your channel for sometime now and I will continue to subscribe. Personally I have never seen you react to an artist like that before and your reaction to that particular song seemed totally unfair to the artist. Although I’m a fan of Dan, I also listen to several other artists and I know they all work very hard to produce the best video they can. To constantly compare them to the original while they are singing, in my opinion is just wrong. They all deserve your complete attention until the end at which time you can say you like the original better.

The only defense I have back to you on this lol is with my guest, I wish he had more enthusiasm so the guest thing didn't work out the way I would have wanted it too! I learned my lesson on bringing guests on here that aren't into reactions in general lol! but Yes, I agree, I could have worded it differently when asking him that question! @umarae27 I disagree but your also somebody on the outside looking in so you may know better than I would but no I don't think I'm that way at all! I'd ask how many different type of reactions have you watched of mine? Because more of my personality would show on more videos than just 1 specific artist! But I do appreciate your input!
