For some reason your nurgle and skaven essays really strike a chord with me. Your commentary stimulates worldbuilding thinking in a natural and open manner that is very (ironically) healthy for the lore and community.
Tzeentch’s spell counters catalogue the ways which reality can be changed, while nurgle’s plague accountants record the ways which reality falls into entropy. Love the opposing dynamic
I recently started to watch (listen) your videos while I am painting my miniatures and I must admit that you do a great job. In a short period of time which usually ranges from 15-20 minutes you manage to cover so much of the lore about the subject and plus give your opinion on it and why is it cool and stuff like that. Great job indeed and keep it up. I consider my self new to AoS even though I started with the first general's Handbook but I don't have much battles under my belt sadly, I play Stormcast Eternals and to be more specific I absolutely love the Anvils of Heldenhammer, thing is I can't find much lore about them, what is given is so little and I would like to know more, so if you can dig some more information about them and make video that will be super cool! Another thing I would like to say is, I mainly play Warhammer 40K, Dark Angels to be precise, so I would like to suggest that you start making lore videos about the primarchs. I know everything that is given about Lion El'Jonson, I have read all of the books about him in the Horus Heresy series, but I think it will be really cool if you make a lore video about him, it will be interesting to hear your perspective of the character and how in short period of time you'll manage to cover most of the lore and why he is so super cool. Keep up the good work!
well thank you for the kind words! Im hesitant to break into 40k stuff as there's just so much of it out there already, but few topics are as tempting as the Primarchs.
So tzentch has spell counters, nurgle has plague counters. Do slaanesh and khorne have counters? What would they count? Khorne can definitely see skull counters. Would slaaneshi counters count kinks?
@@2Tough so does that mean there's a red demon with a yard stick, a knotted rope and a stained clipboard checking the bloodflow into Khormes realm? Or a trio of purple demons scoring perverts like a beauty pageant?
My new Herald is none really there all great all useful in a army good video. Keep making good vids maybe next week you can do a special on another army but don't listen to me it's your own channel just do what makes you fell accomplished also if you can maybe do somethings on slanesh because I have no idea of slanesh lore
Sentient, but they don't need to act like it, and have no desire to avoid harm. They really are their own beings, which is how they function so obediently and "mindlessly". It's counter intuitive, but the sparks of mortal being in them are exactly what keeps them coherent as Daemons, they have a sense of self that can feel hopelessness in a way impossible for Bloodletters or Horrors, (But maybe possible for Daemonettes, considering they are also sometimes made of a corrupted soul in the same way as Plaguebearers.) and that hopelessness is why they obey, they might have ideas of resentment and displeasure, sure, but they're defined as being cantankerous and grumpy in the context of the joy that Nurgle daemons typically embody, because those other Daemons represent different aspects of mortals, though abstracted far further than the Plaguebearers. Essentially, you can totally converse with a Plaguebearer, despite what 2+Tough says, they're not less intelligent than a human, they're likely wise to even more things, they just won't show it, because why should they bother? They're here to be troops, not to be anything else. Should they decide to respond to your words, which would be rare, they'd likely not have anything to say that you'd want to hear, they're depressed, half formed beings neutered of the other aspects of their personality besides their numbness towards it all, and they'd just bellyache and groan about the troubles they face and the inane and nasty things they feel compelled to care about as a throwback to their mortal lives, where they cared about things that actually mattered to them. It would be like talking to a zombie, but it would understand what you're saying. It wouldn't care, but it would understand, and then it would try to kill you, or you'd catch a horrible disease from hearing the tainted words of a Plaguebearer speaking directly to you.

I would really like to see a cross video fantasy/AOS between you and @arch warhammer

Khorne has blood tithe tokens and Slaanesh has depravity points :)

Which of the new heralds is your favorite?

2+Tough definetly the Spoilpox Scrivener. Dude just wants to do his job.

Yes.
Daemons of Nurgle always do their taxes and hands in their reports on time.
Are they sentient or more mindless like zombies?
