Red Goblin is one of the most amazing characters as a villain with a great origin story which can be easily replicated in MCU, (after watching spiderman: NWH) I would be so happy to see holland's version of spiderman fighting with red goblin in main MCU with the help of venom and other spider folks from different realities. At this stage, Marvel can do anything... Marvel exceeds expectation and delivers phenomenally on fan service.
I'm surprised you didn't mention the brief time Marvel tried to repackage Green Goblin as a Hero in the 90s. Basically, Ben Urich's nephew Phil found one of Norman's abandoned Goblin Hideouts with all types of Goblin tech inside and decides to use it to become a super hero, he had a short lived ongoing and everything. It wasn't anything groundbreaking and seemed to struggle finding an identity but it was definitely an interesting idea.
That actually sounds Dope as Hell and like something I might do if there was a way to use that Goblin Gas to become a Super Soldier, but not develope Multiple personality disorder in the Sam Raimi Spiderman movie 😅🕷️👹. I'd probably call myself Oni instead of a Goblin though. And paint everything in different shades of red and such and with Tiger stripes.

I'm pretty sure he's mixing Ultimate Norman being the creator of the spider that bit Peter with 616 origin, that the Spider was just an average spider that was accidently irradiated.

Saw the movie last night, not gonna spoil but all ima say Willem Dafoe surpassed his performance in Spider-Man 1. This man *IS* Green Goblin
