Wine is in abundance, as is the beauty of the surrounding landscape!! It's the perfect place to ride your bikes around town, visit the many wineries and if you like castles, Wachau has those too!! It is also a UNESCO World Heritage site, which means it's a cultural and natural site considered to be of 'Outstanding Universal Value'... it has special importance for everyone!!

I made some photos sometimes when I drove through there the region at Spitz is absolutly stunning, the Danube opens there and you get a beautiful broad few of Valey peaks and the Danube between. Also the part before Durnstein where the rockwalls appear on the left side looks magical in late summer when the sun goes down. It shimmers in a golden/brown glaze.

Great video. I biked the Danube river last year with 2 buddies from Passau to Vienna in September. We did a month long biking and hiking through Germany/Austria and Switzerland. If you're into cycling, the Danube is a bucket list trip. The people/food and oh my gosh, the scenery is out of this world beautiful! We enjoyed it so much we're biking the Danube again next September. Thanks for posting the video. All the best from California

"Krauselklauseviadukt" (railway viaduct in video) does not lie in the Wachau. Why are you putting it there? That shot of the viaduct is there twice. You are misleading people!
Strange to me. You title this video "Wachau" and then you show train on the Semmering Mountain , wich is a total different area.
