Thanks Scott. It is good to hear from you and Jonathan. Sometimes I worry when you go dark for a while. I know sometimes work and life gets in the way, but I appreciate your posts.
You've done a wonderful thing, bringing those machines back to life to show folks who've never seen one run how they operate. Things keep going like they are in America, you may be the only one around with electricity!
That's a fine presentation of the show room. From Jonathans videos alone I got the impression of endless collection without more than one or two engines running. There's a lot to explore now for an interested visitor.
Loving all those steam engines turning, Jonathan, great video, especially the steam whistle. I retired a few years ago from our local steel mill here in Southern Colorado. Years ago when I started in '74 the mills were steam powered especially the Rail Mill. Next to the old Power House were the Blast Furnaces and on the Power House was the very large and deep toned shift change steam whistle. The whole town heard it at 7, 3 and 11pm and Noon. Sadly over the years of the evolving of the steel industry steam was eliminated and the steam whistle is in a museum. Loved hearing yours, sounded just like a steam locomotive coming into town! Beautiful layout of your engines.
These are such Awesome 'finds' and rebuilds. Thank you for showing us them,and how they were repaired and operated. Bet there's Dozens of kids waiting their folks to bring them there so they can watch,and eat some of the steam powered Ice-cream too ;)
Have you considered opening a steam engine museum? The mason who constructed the foundations for most of these engines is an artist. Thanks for sharing.

Brilliant - a different comprehensive view of Johnathan's engines he has collected many examples in a short space of time, it just seems a blink of an eye since he got his first engine.
Holy crap! I saw one of his videos a long time ago when he was first interested in saving an abandoned steam engine from being scrapped. Some may say it got out of hand but to me it looks like he's got it well in hand! 👍

Jonathan you still need a steam locomotive and a track around your property. There are still small mine and steel mill and so forth locomotives out there rusting. Towns that years ago put these locomotives on display in the park or playground or whatever sometimes want to get rid of them and they need to be rescued.

That generator huh? Boy that really kicked off industrial revolution. Now they could weld . It was on. I know they had steam and hydro machine shops too.
I think he is saving that job for someone who told him it was a list item for him to paint that engine.... It is in the works, don't worry...😉... Hopefully we'll have the Hamilton up and ready by the next startup maybe...
