Your Rooster turned out amazing! I agree with someone that commented, that I didn’t realize the rice paper did not fit either, until I watched your video! You did a fantastic job of blending! The colors all worked out with the Rooster picture! I think that adding the white on the edges, the raised stencils, & the splatters were great ideas that brought it all together! ( I also like reading other’s comments, I learned about the water on a brush to ‘cut’ rice paper. I did it for the first time this last week!) Thank you again for sharing! I think it’s wonderful that you recycle & repurpose things & are cautious about wasting things, (like your paint for example)!
I’m definitely not into the rooster print but it doesn’t matter I’m sure there are a lot of people that love it and it turned out great I love watching your channel because you teach so many different techniques and I love your work. I actually sent your channel to some different people yesterday and said check this channel out this girl is awesome . Blessings from 🇺🇸😊
Did I do alright she says!! 🤣 it’s fabulous, you are brilliant at this sort of stuff. I miss your colouring channel but this is always enjoyable. You are one very clever girl 😘💐xx
You did a great job on blending. Befor I blend I put on a thin coat of varnish over my entire finished decoupage item and let it dry. That way when I go to do my blending if I'm not happy with it I can wipe it off and start over again and my napkin or paper is safe. Once it's done I varnish a couple more times sanding very lightly with very fine sandpaper in between each coat.
This is amazing. I fell in love at the beginning and it just kept getting better. I LOVE the chickens, my kitchen is chickens. I would display this piece in a heartbeat!!
I love all of your projects. This one is no exception. I just really enjoy watching you work. I know you said you did not enjoy the blending but as you always put your heart and soul into all that you create, what’s not to love? I think the addition of the stencils really rounded out the project. Anyone who loves the country theme will love this piece.
You did a fantastic job! Give yourself some credit, you are very good at blending. I LOVE Shabby Chic. I have a vintage room that I decorated in Shabby Chic.
It turned out great, just came from your other channel and didn't know what to expect. The blending turned out well and I liked the raised stencil work. At a glance your work looks gorgeous and I have a lot of videos to catch up on,I'm glad I found you.
I love all your crafts they are amazing, when I was watching your video on decoupaging the chopping board and you explained why you dip your brush in water & then the pva because the pva is thick, a good ratio of 1 cup of pva mixed with 1/3 of a cup of water gives the perfect mix for doing these kind of crafts, you should give it a try on something small to see what you think yourself 😉😊
Your blending was really good, I didn't expect you to do that (multicolour) and now you have done it I will be happily avoiding that task. I like the raised stencils left plain. I'll watch any style you choose to do even the goth or witchy lol 😂
I think you did a great job on the blending! Great thing about blending is it doesn't have to be exact. You can also cover it and try again if you're not happy. It only has to "blend". When you first added the white around the edges I thought I would have kept them dark. But when you added the stenciled touches, the white border made sense to me. Have you tried a product called gesso? It's a terrific primer, esp. for smooth surfaces. There are lots of brands and I've seen it in white (which you could tint with paint) and in black. It might save you from having to do so many layers of paint before applying the deco paper.
You did a fantastic job of blending. When you first put the image on I thought, uh oh, that's not gonna work. But wowza, he's so pretty. Ilike to make every style it seem. In decorating I think it turns out eclectic/ boho. Just can't decide from so many pretty things. ❤
You always create CRAZY BEAUTIFUL objects! I totally enjoy watching whatever you are working on!!! An artist is a joy to view and the step by step techniques are great. Can’t wait to try this. Thanks!!!!
Oh my goodness it is beautiful. Your blending is perfect and look like it is part of the original picture. When you added the stencils you brought it over the top. I do have bits of farm house decor but mostly I have Norwegian. I love anything old whether antique or simply well used in the past, especially things from family. Thank you so much for the great technique video, I definitely want to try this. 🌹
You definitely did a great job with the blending! I am presently working on a tall box and am dealing with the same issues - BLENDING! Ugh! It's a challenge for real. I love how this chopping board turned out. What style do I like? Several. I get bored easily working in the same style or on the same types of things, so I do enjoy working in many different styles with many types of media. Thanks for sharing your lovely crafting techniques. Be well!
I just love hiw it turned out. The blending was very smooth. I know you are master in blending colours, and undoubtedly this has come out very well. As usual enjoy watching and listening 😘😘😘😘😘
Hey 👋🏻 Iveta! TYFS this turned out beautiful! I’m not 🤷🏻♀️ quite sure why you are so worried about your blending, you made it look so easy. Could you do the same technique with a plastic cutting board? Thank you for your help. Please stay safe 😷!
Hi teamie, love this and understand the difficulty with the blending. I just did a workshop by Vasilis Kontos on fb, the refresh and learn, it is cheap and very good, he explained yesterday the blending, maybe you like it. I am a big fan of decoupage in mixed media 3d. Steampunk but also now wintertheme. Love your voice over !!! Xo Karin

I use old toothbrushes to splatter paint. They work so well.

I’d love to be at the level of mastery (and bravery) in paint blending where you are. A long way to go for me.

Glad you liked the suggestion for the wet paintbrush. Project is lovely. Have you used the iron method for applying paper to flat surfaces?

I thought the blending was a triumph. My style is shabby chic but I really appreciate any style if it's delivered with passion!
Great blanding.
I loved, ❤️
It's gorgeous. Is it just DIY filler that you used, please.
Thank you! Yes, just the stuff you’d use to fill little cracks in walls or furniture ☺️
@@IvetaZiedina thank you.
That's my problem I'm to scared to blend. I'm afraid I'm going to mess my project up. Maybe I should just go for it!
