Thanks for watching. I would say that this camera at this price would be a perfect gift at Christmas time for a young person who might like photography. Regardless of the quality of the photos relative to the phone in the pocket, looking through a viewfinder of any kind, forces the photographer to see things differently. Tia's is fantastic! Love that place. Thanks for watching

Got a kick out of this, Peter. I had some fun (and some similar challenges) last summer breaking out one of the old Polaroids to shoot. It's the craftsman, not the tools, right? 😆
For a digital point-and-shoot that little Camp Snap's sensor seems to have reasonable dynamic range, at least, which is more than I can say for modern Polaroid film.

haha. All things considered, I don't think it was as bad as I thought it might be. The dynamic range better than I thought for sure, and considering I was really stretching its capabilities by photographing mostly indoors, not bad. The noise is the big factor, but in some ways like the Polaroid's lack of... everything LOL, is what makes it compelling to use. Thanks for watching!

It's a fun little camera, and for not knowing what kind of images it produces the shots came out pretty darn good. As always, awesome video.

You handed me the camera I put it in the bag. Took it out and did the video LOL. All things considered not bad for such a cheap camera. Like I said in a previous comment, I do think this would make a good gift. I bet someone out there is already making accessories for this thing hahahah Real leather wrap costing more than the camera, coming right up LOL

Which mode do you use for the photo above the film? Can you describe it? Standard or Vintage. Which mode do you recommend more for this camera? Thank you.

I presume you are asking about the Leica Q2 'film style' setting. The Q2 only has three modes. Standard, vivid or Natural. (along with the Monochrome setting). Unlike other cameras some of which have film simulated profiles. I use Standard and probably what I would recommend. But keep in mind that if you use Raw, then it makes no difference. Thanks for watching!

Sometime you just have to step back from the technology. When I'm on vacation, I usually take just a Sony mirrorless and one M42 screw mount lens. Makes me think and slow down. Might need to get one of those Snap Cameras and give it a spin. Thanks for sharing!!!

For sure! At $65 you can't go wrong! I was actually surprised to be honest.

what is the point of this thing? To carry even more plastic waste around with you, I don't understand. Take a camera that you already have, take photos and don't look at the display, or take your smartphone. But please don't support even more waste production... but what am I saying, we are on RUclips.

hahah. I agree. Outside of giving this to someone who is young and wants a 'camera' not really sure. Many people are buying into the nostalgic side of things, look at some current camera designs. I don't get it but seems like many people out there do! Thanks for watching

It was designed as a mostly indestructible camera that can go with kids to camp instead of crappy disposable film camera but there is a huge low-fi/toy camera look that lots of other people also enjoy so for $65 you can grab something that is capable of taking some OK photos that's fun to use.
