      Super nice bike but obviously limited to track days, short commute or sunday blasts. High revs triple engines tend to get tiring after a while especially if you are canted forward. Not sure about vibration issues though.

    I opted for the RS over the Moto 2, simply for comfort and to be honest the only thing I'd like from the Moto 2 is the Ohlins forks as the rest is identical on both bikes down to the engine, Ohlins rear shock and Brembo stylemas and to answer your question the 188kg (414lbs) is the wet weight.

      I'm too far in to mods and ownership of mine now to change it. Leaning towards clip on bars and top triple clamp for mine to make the riding position a little more prone for track use like the Moto2 version. Other than that and the Ohlins forks, it's the same bike anyway with slightly different rear ride height.

    17:00 - The street triple really is a Swiss Armey Knife. It does everything, and it does everything really well. I've gone from a 2015 STR 675 RX, to a 2018 765 RS, and just got a 2024 765RS a few weeks ago. I can easily commute comfortably, hit canyons for hours, and just lollygag around if I want. It's a refined hoon machine dressed up with class.
    Hopefully there will be an update for the hard to read tach, I feel like my 2018 did not have that issue at all.

    • @RemboUSMC
      @RemboUSMC  Год назад +1

      That’s a very good question. The RS 660 is definitely more sports oriented, but they are both excellent trek bikes. This is a personal decision you’ll have to make after taking both of them out. I also love the RS 660.

    • @KellerFkinRyan
      @KellerFkinRyan Год назад +1

      rs660 is likely less reliable than this bike. if you’re cross shopping the rs660 and the street triple, the closest in terms of spec is the Street Triple R, which is cheaper and has better components. if money were no object, i’d get the moto2 version, but i think the best value of the street triples is the RS. it’s only losing the clip ons and ohlins front in terms of hardware. obviously the exclusive bodywork won’t come on the other trims.

      I have two main complaints with my 2021 Aprilia 660. I'm on engine number 2, the first one died. Secondly, it takes several months to get parts. So, if something important breaks.. you could be looking at 6 months waiting for part(s) to come in while your bike just sits in the garage. Aprilia is horrible with providing parts to the US. In the 2 years I hade my Aprilia, it was in the shop or stuck in the garage waiting for parts for a total of about 9 months... that's almost a 50% downtime on a brand new bike! I would not recommend anyone to ever get an Aprilia, unless they another bike too. When it works, it's great though and Aprilia's are simply beautiful. I can't wait to trade mine in for something like this Triumph. I don't have time to wait for months and months for Italy to send me parts.

      @@stephencarbajal5657 hmmmm, so I have a new Street R that I purchased last month and purchased a panigale v2 earlier this year. The RR is my favorite for sure between the 3. But the street is so so good and it’s only an R. My friend has the new moto 2 and it’s great but if I had to do it again after buying my street and I could only buy 1 I might have tested a Speed RS. If my street is this good I bet the Speed RS is perfect as a street bike. The Moto 2 is a bit odd to me with the clip one and the price vs a standard street RS. My buddy misses his 2022 street RS, he doesn’t seem to like his Moto 2. My RR is amazing I love it so much but I never been on the 1200 RS, bet it’s perfect on the street. I doubt I would choose the RS over the RR if I was buying again because of the look but I would for sure want to test the Speed RS before I would make the purchase again. But my two triumphs over my 23 Pani V2. The triumphs allllll day.
