I'm currently fighting an opiate addiction myself. I'm about 30 hours into withdrawal right now and I feel like 7 different kinds of shit. Reasonably I know that if I just stick with this for a few days I'll be relatively better. But realistically I know if I have the chance, and I will, I'd use in an instant. I think the worst part for me is the restless tension. That feeling like RLS, you know "kicking the habit" as they say. The constant discomfort is torture. The lack of energy is even more cruel, because I just absolutely can't sit still. Anyway, videos like this are inspirational, whether I quit now or a year from now, it helps. So thanks for posting.

Powerful! I knew Chris when he was in grade school, and so sad to learn of his passing. I too, born and raised in VH, and since moved to the deep, dirty south (haha), but I hate to hear how drugs have made their presence felt so much more than when I left just 5 years ago. I applaude you for the courage it takes to share. Just as you say, Chris was an awesome individual, and it's important to recognize the good in people and celebrate the life he had and the many he touched. Thanks for the post!

Hey good luck to you! I don't know recently I'm picking up some strange things from my boyfriend! For one I know that he does weed occassionally but i could be wrong but he does seem have a trackmark in his arm and I know for sure that he didn't give or donated blood recently, so irritated and always wanna fight and sleep pattern changed and he doubled the amount of cig he's been smoking...it's terrible and when I know for a fact it'll be over for us!
