I leave mine upside down in the cupboard, so the oil has a chance to mix through the peanut butter. I tried tipping it out once and then it just got horrifically dry towards the end of the jar. It needs the oil for consistency, but it's normal for it to separate in natural peanut butters. (I.e just peanuts and salt).
This kind is the best imo, because it doesn't have anything added to keep it stable - it's just peanuts and salt. You just need to stir it up really well once the first time you open it and keep it in the fridge so it doesn't separate again
Natural peanut butter is the best. Also the biggest pain in the ass ever. But after several sore arms from stirring for ever I developed a better way then doing it by hand. I take beater from my mixer, put it in a cordless drill and mix it. I don't use the mixer cause it cannot handle the torque required.
I'm an American and I love peanut butter. I walk around my house with a jar of peanut butter and a spoon. I love peanut butter everything. In fact, you just reminded me to buy more at the store..lol
Omg I can’t believe the producers didn’t tell you to fully mix the one with the oil on top!! That’s the peanut oil; that happens with natural brands that don’t use additives or stabilizers, you have to mix it up fully.
@@Not_A_JTAC it definitely wasn't a fair comparison not mixing the natural if it was on purpose it was a poor decision it wasn't hilarious and it didn't give them the correct flavor profile
When I buy natural peanut butter, I always store it upside down in the pantry. That way the oil, which wants to be at the top works its way up through the solids. This makes it a lot easier to stir and mix thoroughly when I finally open it. (Then it goes in the fridge, of course)
I never store mine in the fridge after as I don't like cold peanut butter. Not sure if I'm supposed to, but it never really separates again after I stir it anyways, so
Same here oddly enough as overly positive and happy people generally piss me off. I get less of a "head in the sand" vibe off her I guess. Realistic positivity.

Yeah, natural peanut butter has the peanut oil separated on top. You need to thoroughly stir the jar and refrigerate, then it will be ready to eat. (It's so good compared to the sugar filled other brands, btw.)
We buy the natural peanut butter, (same stuff shown here,) and now the regular stuff tastes too sweet. You forgot to get some jars of Peter Pan Peanut Butter, also some of the chunky would have been good to throw in and for fun at the end, get that weird jar that's both PB&J in the same jar ;-P
There is a natural foods shop in my old neighborhood that had grinders set up. You turned on the machine and got PB made in just seconds. Didn’t have the chance to separate before you brought it home and put it in the refrigerator to keep it fresh and keep it from separating. Pretty much perfect.
This. I used to love (and still do) love Smuckers Natural until i discovered my coop does the same thing. literally a huge vat of peanuts above a grinder. pick a container and push a button. SOOOOOO GOOOOOOO. i do stir in some salt when i get home, but its worth it. so easy and fresh!!
If peanut butter doesn’t have oil on top then know that roasting was quite balance or just that too much hydrogenated oil has been added to hold things firm.
"Looks like it's designed for kids. Like make kids excited in shops and throw tantrums and lose their mind." You do not know how accurate that is.... 😫😫😫😅😅😂
Jif, butter top wheat bread, and Red raspberry preserve With seeds. - ice cold milk. Whole bread loaf - 2 full jars n half gallon milk. Lots of PB n coating of preserve - open face rocks.
MsBRooKS mSbrOOks my friend and I were arguing with her mom about if it was “jiffy” or “jif” because we remembered it as “jiffy” and she immediately shut us up with that line
Why did they not mix the natural peanut butter, were they not told to mix it!? Who the fuck is in charge of this shit? Doesn't anyone there know you are supposed to mix the goddamned natural peanut butter!!!
It was great watching them slam the natural peanut butter. The usually so health conscious panel talks shit about the most natural one of the bunch :) Oh, and yer supposed to stir the oil back in ya dummies. Ya don't spoon it through the prs out oil. It separates when it sits. Did no one tell them?
awww Blondie is so welcoming to Beardie :) also - I LOVE peanutbutter, gimme all of these! the natural one btw, needed a very good mix by the looks of it ... in all natural peanutbutter sometimes the oil can separate and pool at the top, and sometimes bits of it does get clamped and oddly dried, it's fine ... just mix as best you can XD
i love peanut butter. jif is my go to. sometimes at night a few hours after supper, i will get the jar of jif out and eat spoonfuls of it. before i know it, i have eaten 1/4 to 1/3 of the jar. a family story i was told about, my dad worked with a fellow in construction and they became friends. he ate peanut butter out of the jar almost every day. his kids got concerned about it and asked his doctor. the doc said he would never have to worry about hardening of the arteries. the oil on top is because the heavier peanut paste settled. this is normal for many oil based products. i'm sure the irish have some things that settle to the bottom, even cereal settles to the bottom and looks like you only get half of a box. i wonder why you guys didnt have peter pan peanut butter.
Alright so... like... do you guys not know how peanut butter works? There's fat in it... On another note, I literally can't eat peanut butters like Jiff, Skippy, etc. anymore because whatever they put in it causes me to be extremely sick. Smuckers Natural, however, I can eat because the ingredients are literally "peanuts, salt"; all you have to do is STIR IT (omg, so hard) and it will be fine (you can also skim some of it off and make it just a wee bit healthier before stirring the rest in). So i found this video extremely hilarious because most of them rejected the healthier version and loved on the processed ones; so much for making fun of American processed foods.
JazzyNym - Could your problem with those Peanut Butters be because of the soy they add to them? Because of a mild soy allergy, I can only have the “natural“ peanut butters and Peter Pan. Peter Pan uses cottonseed and rapeseed (canola) oils rather than soy.
Tamika Jones wow, ok, Celiac is a real disease, just being a protien means nothing for safety (nearly all allergies are responses to protiens and nearly all poisons in nature are too), peanut butter has no standard ingredients that contain gluten (so making them gluten-free just means improving their cross-contamination procedures), and almost no products in grocery stores have had their recepies changed to make them gluten free without still selling the original. Wtf has you so triggered?
You should have included Jif brand , which I, personally think is the best, especially with honey in it. Infusing honey in the peanut butter is the best idea since siliced bread .
I had the same reaction to Smuckers "All Natural" 2 part PB when I was a kid back in the 70's. Haven't had it since. I'll stick with JIF or Skippy. Kinda surprised you didn't try any chunky style though.
I am pretty sure the schtick with this series is to purposely serve them stuff they are unfamiliar with and not give them the least clue about how it is supposed to be eaten. You know, like giving them peanut butter but not something to put it on, or sushi and not explaining the wasabi, sort of thing.
Need to do a peanut butter & jelly sandwich, cut up in small squares. Grape jelly, raspberry, orange marmalade, apricot & also strawberry Basically the most popular 5. My favorite is orange, pineapple or mango marmalade, but I'm down in far SW Florida.
It’s not very popular over here. You can find it in shops but not as much variety. Majority of us over here don’t like it either. The only person i know who doesn’t hate peanut butter is my brother but even he doesn’t really like it that much
The US grows the vast majority of the world's peanuts, so everywhere else has to import it, making it expensive. So, since it's not cheap like it is here, they use it sparingly or not at all. Americans fell in love with PB during the world wars, when it was a cheap, homegrown source of energy and protein, and we haven't yet run out of ways to eat it, lol. Thus, we're all PB addicts, and the rest of the world thinks we're "nuts". 😁
My favorite is Kraft Peanut Butter. I miss it so much. It's available in Canada but I can't find it anywhere in the States. I love that Kraft makes low sodium and whipped versions.
The good stuff requires stirring until it has all blended back together when it is the old fashioned peanut butter. I always loved this type the most for flavor.

Just eat it within a month or so. Refrigerating peanut butter is wrong. Just wrong.
We don't put our peanut butter in the refrigerator I don't know who does that.
They should have been sampling the PBs on Ritz or Saltines. Om nom nom. Eat a whole damn jar with a stack o' Ritz.
I prefer Saltines myself, but yes.
Sandwiched between two vanilla wafers and dunked in milk. Or club crackers.
I'm with Diane, that's amazing. Go you dude! I knew I liked you :)
"See, when you're not being a jerk it's wonderful."
“YEAH! Yeah, what?” LOL
If peanut butter doesn’t have oil on top then know that roasting was quite balance or just that too much hydrogenated oil has been added to hold things firm.
Diane:See when you're not being a jerk its wonderful
Guy:Yeah *realization* ye... what ?
"Looks like it's designed for kids. Like make kids excited in shops and throw tantrums and lose their mind." You do not know how accurate that is.... 😫😫😫😅😅😂
Jif, butter top wheat bread, and Red raspberry preserve With seeds. - ice cold milk.
Whole bread loaf - 2 full jars n half gallon milk. Lots of PB n coating of preserve - open face rocks.
"Choosy moms choose Jif" or at least that's what the commercial claims.
MsBRooKS mSbrOOks my friend and I were arguing with her mom about if it was “jiffy” or “jif” because we remembered it as “jiffy” and she immediately shut us up with that line
(Singing). "Momma loves me and I've got a hunch, that she'll always put skipy..in my lunch!"
Kind of surprised they didn't try Crunchy or Honey Peanut Butter. I only eat Honey peanut butter because Honey + Peanut Butter= Deliciousness. 😆🥜🍯
Why did they not mix the natural peanut butter, were they not told to mix it!? Who the fuck is in charge of this shit? Doesn't anyone there know you are supposed to mix the goddamned natural peanut butter!!!
The people in charge of these videos are idiots.
Maybe..... they do stuff like that to help the comment section along..giggle.. maybe
So now you know how Australian feel when Americans fuck up Vegemite.
Australia did that shit all on their own. Its fecking sheit!
Diane softened him right up!
This channel is hilarious. Now I know why I go to Ireland every chance I get. They're just great people.
The second peanut butter is the best one, but you are meant to mix it up more
Jif is the best.
Reeces is good too I love reeces peanut butter cups.
It was great watching them slam the natural peanut butter. The usually so health conscious panel talks shit about the most natural one of the bunch :)
Oh, and yer supposed to stir the oil back in ya dummies. Ya don't spoon it through the prs out oil. It separates when it sits. Did no one tell them?
Skippy is always the best! It's what you want to use for making peanut butter cookies. Got me a blue ribbon at the state fair!
awww Blondie is so welcoming to Beardie :)
also - I LOVE peanutbutter, gimme all of these! the natural one btw, needed a very good mix by the looks of it ... in all natural peanutbutter sometimes the oil can separate and pool at the top, and sometimes bits of it does get clamped and oddly dried, it's fine ... just mix as best you can XD
Peanut butter and banana sandwiches are very good.
I grew up on Skippy and Peter pan
Pairing Diane with Rasputin was a good idea...
Skippy is the best
The only kind I buy!
Brittney Banker With Welch's grape jam! Ummmmmmmm um good!
Sure it is, if you prefer the more bland peanut-y flavor.
It's not really peanut butter but ye, it's a nice mix of horrible additives and weird super processed soy and palm.
You're suppose to mix the Smuckers peanut butter before using it, that's why it was so oily.
yea, the label even says to stir BEFORE eating.
These videos never disappoint! Love them. Always make me laugh
i love peanut butter. jif is my go to. sometimes at night a few hours after supper, i will get the jar of jif out and eat spoonfuls of it. before i know it, i have eaten 1/4 to 1/3 of the jar. a family story i was told about, my dad worked with a fellow in construction and they became friends. he ate peanut butter out of the jar almost every day. his kids got concerned about it and asked his doctor. the doc said he would never have to worry about hardening of the arteries. the oil on top is because the heavier peanut paste settled. this is normal for many oil based products. i'm sure the irish have some things that settle to the bottom, even cereal settles to the bottom and looks like you only get half of a box. i wonder why you guys didnt have peter pan peanut butter.
You got them weak genes bro. I couldn't live without my skippy.
JazzyNym - Could your problem with those Peanut Butters be because of the soy they add to them? Because of a mild soy allergy, I can only have the “natural“ peanut butters and Peter Pan. Peter Pan uses cottonseed and rapeseed (canola) oils rather than soy.
James T. Savidge a problem with soy seems the most likely
Put it in the fridge after you mix it and it will never separate again, it gets thick like regular peanut butter too.
You're supposed to mix up the oil and peanut butter until it no longer separates.
I don't know how you can't get that. Have they never cooked? Used jars of, I don't know, Asian sauces and stuff?
They wouldn't of complained about the oil I there mouth if they mixed it properly
All the double dipping is giving me anxiety....
OH...grow up!
I eat peanut butter out of the jar..I love Skippy. Oops. 😂😍❤️
No Peter Pan? It's the best!!!
IKR
Can you still buy it? I never see it here in Cali.
You're supposed to stir the natural peanut butter first, how do you not realize this?
I am pretty sure the schtick with this series is to purposely serve them stuff they are unfamiliar with and not give them the least clue about how it is supposed to be eaten.
You know, like giving them peanut butter but not something to put it on, or sushi and not explaining the wasabi, sort of thing.
They really should have like pre-stirred it, or at least told them to stir it when they commented on the oil on top.
Skippy creamy is my fave. Just polished off a PB&J on multigrain for lunch. Delicious!
Need to do a peanut butter & jelly sandwich, cut up in small squares.
Grape jelly, raspberry, orange marmalade, apricot & also strawberry
Basically the most popular 5.
My favorite is orange, pineapple or mango marmalade, but I'm down in far SW Florida.
jif is my favorite lol
My mother used to make us peanut butter and fluff sandwiches for lunch.....
What is fluff ?
Marshmallow fluff
Rod McDonald, you don't know what fluff is?
🤮
Godisgood Allthetime Lemme guess: You’re from the New England. Am I right?
Why are they acting like peanut butter doesn't have oil? Mix it up and move on!!
These videos if ppl from places other than America trying American Foods are interesting to watch!!!
love peanut butter and love you all from michigan USA!!
Seems like chunky peanut butter would have added to the variety seeing as all but one were creamy.
Seriously dont have peanut butter in Ireland?!
Chris J I think they have, but it's not very popular food, so a lot of people don't eat it
It’s not very popular over here.
It's sad huh? I feel sorry for them.
Um, you have a peanut butter taste test, with NO PETER PAN? What kind of nonsense is this?
Not unless you want salmonella! Skippy is the best!
Peter Pan and Skippy are both terrible
Viva la Jif
Omg you guys are hella fun! I'm on an unhealthy y RUclips binge of these vids 😂😂😂
My favorite is Kraft Peanut Butter. I miss it so much. It's available in Canada but I can't find it anywhere in the States. I love that Kraft makes low sodium and whipped versions.
Irish people watch Married With Children
I can't believe the guy with the beard said I smelled and taste disgusting :(
I had jiff at home and nearly threw up I'm sorry
Creamy peanut butter is nothing compared to crunchy
The good stuff requires stirring until it has all blended back together when it is the old fashioned peanut butter. I always loved this type the most for flavor.
Yay!!! Paddy's back! Was he on probation?
