My pets must be broken :P I have 2 dogs, 3 cats and they all adore each other. My husky (and huskies are well-known for a high prey drive) will kidnap cats... to mother them. And the cats seem to be totally fine with this. She is constantly abducting my friends' cats and the cats are refusing to leave the warm husky cuddles. The husky even *trains* the cats to give her dog treats, which the cats seem more than happy to feed their new "mom." For a year, she even took care of a blind and deaf kitten, who wanted nothing to do with anyone but the husky, his big protective mommy. All of the cats are so obsessed with my dogs, I've had to harness and leash train them (which took approx 5 minutes, they seemed to realize that leashes = time with the dogs outside). They follow the husky like little ducklings, it takes absolutely no effort on my part to walk them, I just walk the dogs like normal and the cats follow her. When it comes to other dogs, it's no issue, either, because they're so relaxed and used to dogs at this point. Because the cats don't freak out, the other dogs don't freak out. The only time there's ever any ever stress amongst the pets is when they're separated from each other, not the other way around :P
I’m Aussie and we just stick our middle finger up, the two fingers comes from Britain when French knights or men at arms captured English long bowman they’d cut off their index and middle finger so they couldn’t work a bow anymore, bows were made from yew or ash trees so remaining English long bowman would stick those fingers up to show French opposition they could still pull their bowstrings or “Pluck yew” and you see where the term evolved from there.
Dogs open their mouths, pant, and they’re giant. Cats are scared of big things and dogs panting and opening their mouths so it looks like they’re tryna eat them. Dogs are just defending themselves
I’m from the Middle East and 👍🏼 is not a dirty insult here I use it everyday with nearly everyone don’t spread information without making sure it’s correct
I let my cats live outside to reverse the domestication. Oh and I let them do what ever they want. That includes hunting. They're okay and they are good at surviving in the forest near our ranch

7:35 the two fingers gesture is actually from the English medieval period. During the Hundred Years War (1337-1453), English Longbow men who were captured by the French often had their middle and index finger cut off before prisoner exchanges to ensure that they wouldn’t be able to shoot a longbow again. So when English troops passed or defeated French troops from then on out, they would brandished their index and middle finger jeeringly to the French to show that they still had their fingers. It basically meant “look, I’ve got both my fingers and I’m gunna use them to shoot arrows at you”. It was an antagonistic gesture. Idk how tf you thought the Aussie’s came up with that.
As an Australian, I can tell you that the reverse 'peace sign' is not the equivalent to the middle finger known as the bird any more. Some older Aussies do equate the V-sign as the bird, but it comes from an English influence such as Television shows, in a time when Australia only had like 5 channels and 4 or them were British and the last one was the ABC (Australian Broadcasting Commission) which is owned by the Australian Government of which was heavily influenced by the U.K. at the time. The gesture itself comes from England, and was developed over many wars with the French from King William’s War of 1688-1697, to the Anglo-French War of 1778 - 1783. English soldiers and especially archers who were captured by the French, would have cut their index and middle fingers cut off, as to be les of a threat if they were to escape captivity or slavery and return home. However, as time progressed and this gracious 'hospitality' of the French become more and more known by the English soldiers the Anglos would flip them off with the V-sign to insult the French soldiers and tell them "Ha, still got my fingers, and Imma shoot you with an arrow c@%t!". The insulting gesture to the French then became normalised with England amongst common folk and even nobles. Eventually the reason behind the gesture changed from a taunting sarcastic threat, to a common "Up yours, mate!" Thus concludes my ted talk.

My current cat sucks at hunting and climbing but very affectionate. Also afraid of thing he shouldn't fear. Think some cat species are softer than the regular farm cat.
I can't relate to some of this. My cat loves dogs. Might sound ridiculous but he does! He made friends with the neighbor's dog that was a German shep. They got along well. Till the neighbor's dog past from old age. My cat was depressed, he would often go out back sitting in the direction of my neighbor's home. He'd wail for hours, till he gave up and forgot about his friend.
When my dog was still a pup (steffordshire bullterrier) and my neighbors cat was still a kitten. They used to play with eachother in the garden and always hang out. One time while playing my dog backed the cat into a corner, then the cat lashed out and they've been enemies ever since. I think the worst betrayal i can do against my dog is petting the neighbors cat she can smell it
In my experience if you socialize either species with the other from a young age they end up being tolerant, even friendly with members of the other species. The dogs and cats at my house get along just fine. One of the cats even plays tag with one of the dogs sometimes.
I am so happy I'm learning so much about life and history and facts , without doing any effort. I surely appreciate Ur effort a lot. I love u! I know how hard it is and much effort to just do a 2 minute video. So respect !
I'm from Kenya and the wild cats here like lions and leopards are just too far higher up the food chain when compared to hyenas and dingos.... Dogs mostly wait for leftovers
I gotta say as an Aussie, with the 2 fingers it dependant on the motion, like the 2 fingers. An just mean peace, but when you’re hanging them upwards then it has the aforementioned meaning (I.e. up yours)
Even some two generations ago people kept cats for mice hunting, so there was some breeding. That's why they bring dead mice to owners not eat them, so people know they do their jobs not just lay around all day.
The dog lifting its paw and tapping the ground with it, it's a sign of wanting to play. But that's how a cat attacks! So the dog is just saying "I want to play", and the cat is like "why are you trying to scratch me? You're going to get it now!".
the facts about the stray cats is SO relevant in areas of the USA as well. some locations have feral populations so large they have become an invasive species. the argument for not handling them like invasive species need to be, is because "they're so cute" *eye roll*
7:48 that's funny because i'm brazilian and quite something back when i was at elementary school i did a okay sign to my teacher and one of the students undestood as "ass" lmfao

They definitely use different mazes with the same layout. If you can think of that flaw I can guarantee you that they thought of it well before.
My lazy cat in my profile pic loves to hunt, he sometimes catches five or more animals outside a day (and kills and eats them if I don’t catch him quickly) including young rabbits, mice, and sparrows and finches, so it’s no surprise to me that cat species could could lower the amount of prey in an ecosystem for wild dogs (especially if they don’t live in a pack) and run them out/cause starvation.
Do you have a wife? 😂
@@oscarflip8561 it's nature, they are supposed to eat wild animals. And get exercise doing so. And not get fat eating artificial food
And it’s also good to have predators in any ecosystem, (even if it’s just the backyard) but when the wife is home, it doesn’t always work out that way. Only ones she doesn’t care about is the mice.
@@koaruu if they hunt them the entire ecosystem will collapse did u see the kills of a domestic cat 185 kills total 390 million u idiot if the cats stayed in Europe and Asia and Africa they would have been normal also if we didn’t domesticate them they would be normal nature is fine on it’s own but when humans interfered the entire earth got impact if it is an asteroid few will survive and it will be fine but humans are dangerous than any other creatures on the planet even if cats hunt them it is our fault why domesticate them why introduce them to new places why let them hunt why should humans exist

I really love fostering kittens and cats, my oldest dog is super careful around cats and is actually scared of them to the point where he will back away from his food bowl while eating as soon as a cat comes up to eat his food. I must say the video is quite good, but since I had both dogs and cats, there was once that we got a puppy and at the same time we rescued a baby cat. From start they snuggled together every night and during day they played together. They loved to wrestle with each other as they grew up, dog even realized the cat did his things at the sand box and tried more than twice to do the same.

I have 2 dogs, 3 cats and they all adore each other.
My cat was watching with me and he keeps snuggling with me :3

I’m Aussie and we just stick our middle finger up, the two fingers comes from Britain when French knights or men at arms captured English long bowman they’d cut off their index and middle finger so they couldn’t work a bow anymore, bows were made from yew or ash trees so remaining English long bowman would stick those fingers up to show French opposition they could still pull their bowstrings or “Pluck yew” and you see where the term evolved from there.
Wow u make my day again for sharing more knowledge

This WATOP videos gets better and better.
Eventually the reason behind the gesture changed from a taunting sarcastic threat, to a common "Up yours, mate!"
Thus concludes my ted talk.

I was at camp once and its a common thing for kids to learn in the US to put up the peace sign for every one be quiet. But our counselor was Australian and was so shocked when he saw it. He then explained why and I didn't realize until later in life how crazy it must have been for him to see a room full of kids basically flipping him off.

There's a reason cats are guardians of the underworld, they may look cute and fluffy but on the inside they are pure evil.
That's 😢 😭 sad
When my dog was still a pup (steffordshire bullterrier) and my neighbors cat was still a kitten. They used to play with eachother in the garden and always hang out. One time while playing my dog backed the cat into a corner, then the cat lashed out and they've been enemies ever since. I think the worst betrayal i can do against my dog is petting the neighbors cat she can smell it
In my experience if you socialize either species with the other from a young age they end up being tolerant, even friendly with members of the other species. The dogs and cats at my house get along just fine. One of the cats even plays tag with one of the dogs sometimes.
Tbf. Most interacting between species, where at least one of the species is not a herbivore, will likely end in conflict.

@2:07 did they cleaned the maze before they tested the offspring of the mice? because... scent..
In Nepal also people say, they can't get together.
But not in my home, both plays
