- Today, we take a look at a scenario where all 50 US States are independent. That's right, every US states will receive independence and become its own country. Some states will cripple and fall right away, while others will prosper in the world. Surrounding countries like Canada and Mexico might see an opportunity to expand on their border, leading to a large war scenario. NATO will be severely weakened from this event, and may lead to Russia and China expanding across their regions. Without the US, many other countries around the world would become defenseless. Here’s an idea: Do the same thing for provinces of different world countries (eg: Canada, Germany, France, Russia)
Also mapchart has a feature where you can make states visible on the world map without any weird stuff
While I can’t really speak for others, it would definitely take weeks if not months having to learn the culture of the provinces of different countries. Making a conflict could also be an issue cause most countries probably don’t hold as much nationalistic feelings towards their state like those in the US do. Heck we fought a whole war because it was unclear if the state or country had final say in things.

As a North Dakotan I feel like we would actually do well independent as we have a steady economy we also have a pretty good food supply and a LOT of oil
Edit:There are also a couple of big military bases
Edit 2: North Dakota is the only state that is self sustainable. All other states would have to trade with other countries for resources
Same with Iowa having some military production areas

I am from Kansas and believe that Kansas would be a stable Switzerland type nation. It would have stable population great food source ,beef and wheat, and in Wichita there is an Air Force base and military base in Topeka. Also there is some oil, natural gas, and coal reserves.

When Canada invaded the corn empire you said that there weren't a lot of people, BUT the population of your combined "corn empire" is actually 11.29 Million. Compared to Canada's 36.99 Million that is still way less but that's 30.5% of Canada's population so the corn empire would not be hopeless! (USA has more guns than people so there is plenty of supplies for the corn people, probably like 12 Million guns!) great Video by the way, really enjoyed it!!!

Depending on the way that the union broke up Kentucky would have quite a bit of army assets left over from the old United States i live in the us and there are alot of military bases but I don't think there would be the men to really man the equipment it would be there and stuff
