Still a great video Joe it’s nice to see the everyday battles that you overcome
Its a day on the farm Joe, you have days like that everywhere. As for hydraulics, with the tolerances and pressures involved they will not tolerate any crap in them, from watching an aussie who does loads of hydraulics for the Australian mining industry the white pieces are wear bands and are sacrificial to prevent metal to metal contact between cylinders and pistons.
Can't show the good stuff all the time that wouldn't be farming or family. Keep up the great videos - business 👍
Nothing worse than FOD in your hydraulic lines. Great video Joe 👍🏼
joe the bits ma just get stick in valve block before it goes through filter , if its working its working , i will say your old man was kinda right tho there wasnt a issue with the actual ram lol
Love the content. It's never a dull video, cause it's never a dull day on the farm!!!!! Thanks and can't wait till tomorrow!!!
Those rodesions are beautiful.
Family rules Joe, same for you as for me. Rule one: Dad is always right. Rule two: When Dad is wrong see rule one! 😉. A perfect example of farming though, adapt and improvise. Ok it might not be pretty, it might not be the right way but if it's safe and it works that's all that matters. I'd call that a 50/50% Dad was right that it wasn't the ram itself but you were right because it was a faulty part on the ram. 👍.
So glad you got the teagle fixed Joe, was nice to see u again on the farm. i will grab some equiptment from work and sort the stuff out for you, also i will pop down to that field u said either tomorrow or sat, another great vlog to your addition, i know it was a pain but was also interesting to find out what was wrong with it, keep up the graft.
That’s Farming! lol great video Joe! You show us the good times and the bad! It’s reality! I was brought up on a farm in North Yorkshire next door to DS, think you know him.
Inside the barrel of the ram
Seals for seals 😂
Rubber is from old ram seal, cannot get through restrictor back to tractor so clean ram out and replace restrictor should be fine
The piece of rubber is obviously off one of the rubber seals in the ram and did not fit through outlet of ram, that is why the tractor filters are not stopping it. It only blocked when the oil was going out through that port.
Nothing not to like about your video today Joe,bit of a bummer when your dad was right about the ram 😅
Trouble shooting is never simple. Glad you sorted it out xx
That poor Buddlia Davidii Violante' is being pruned far too early😂😂
Good video again joe the bad jobs have to be done aswell as the good but it shows the other side of farming is not just sitting on a tractor all day
FPE seals. Brilliant company and always helpful
Great video Joe. I was going to suggest is there a blockage then you found it good process of elimination, and your dad was right , Don't you hate it when that happens 😂
Another great vlog joe looks like it's been a nice day iv only seen it from a hospital window back in hospital my kidney not working right I'm 40%
A thin bit of rubber can prevent a lot of problems....🚼.but sometimes it causes them too.
Hi Joe . I think your Teagle already has an inline filter fitted. Think I see it , top left in the valve area that you power washed .
Unscrew that and change the element inside.
My mchale definitely has one.
Piece of the old seal is broken off and blocked restrictor valve. Used to see it all the time when I used to fix hydraulic rams.
Morning Joe hope alls well
That will be a bit of the ram seal … there is a return filter fitted … on the left of the valve block …
Great video Joe
The gaps in the white wear rings could be an issue, the black seal will try to go through the gap under pressure
That fence is/was a good fence, but it won't tolerate those darlings standing on it like that before it's a flat or useless fence and the dreaded shout "the cows are out!!"
That’s a piece of the ram seal that was stuck in the flow restrictor!
Considering the work the ram does daily might it be better to buy a new ram. Your work cost is higher than the value of the ram. Do you use any of the new bio oils? In fuel systems they decay the flexible pipes.
It might of got caught in there before the filter
Hi Joe it could be a collapsed pipe that's wrong
New return pipe required
why not put the restricter valve back in again ........if it happened again you would know what was the problem........the valve is there for a reason
So your dad was right then 😂😂
General question Joe. What was the oil leak issue with the 130
Baking hot here down south harvest in full swing oats done rape done winter barley done just winter wheat now and poppy's
Looks to be slightly bent lol
Pipes to the ram are perished inside causing the blockade
Did you go to college? if so which one?
Joe Seels the seals need to be replaced not Joe Seels though 😅
Second
First again
