I am SO glad to see someone liking the wardrobe update! All I've seen so far are people saying 'the lighting is too harsh, the interface is ugly and beige, everything I've sorted into outfits got jumbled around, the preview window is too small and, we went from 17 tabs down to 15'... - I do agree the preview window is a too small, they've got a point there. - From 17 own to 15 might look bad at first, but tabs have more row now, so while we lost 2 pages, (my main and tail decorations were almost 2 full tabs, they now all fit on ONE!!) the rows added to each tab make for actually more space than the 17 tabs would've had. - I get that having everything you've sorted messed up is annoying. But spend an afternoon re-organazing and you're set again for the future. - I like the interface it's bright but not too much (for me anyway), it's clean and has rustic modern vibe. I do feel the interface is leaning more and more towards the interface of a mobile game and that is slighty worrying me... But, overall I do like the update as well! It does need some improvement here and there but it's the first iteration of this new interface and that's what the survey is gonna be for. I just hope people wil actually be giving constructrive critisim and not just go on an angry tangent in the survey.
Love the wardrobe! I can’t wait to check it out when I get home from my trip. I got sooooo many cats and starter horse powders or whatever from the cauldron, but that’s ok, I got a lot of shillings and was able to buy a lot of the Halloween outfit 😅 the only item I didn’t get was the polos, which in all honesty is fine with me I have lots that go with the outfit. I completely agree with you about the daily cauldron, I miss that. The trail ride was buggy for me, but not so much that it wasn’t still fun; All in all it wasn’t horrible, it’s still my favourite event! I LOVE your trick or treating idea! That’s so cute!! And building our own scarecrow would be so fun!!Also I love your videos, you have a great mix of sass and constructive criticism!
9:49 I wasn’t originally gonna get the selle françai because of the animations being so..cartoonish? Compared to the other horses, it’s very squishy, but I ended up caving for the black and white one. I love the coat so much, and named him Ghost because he reminds me of Ghostface !
The only bug for the halloween event that was apparent to me and at least one other person was that when we were riding magic horses (mine was specifically bolt) after the race, He couldnt change back into his magic form. Every other magic horse was fine. It was just bolt. I'm not sure if It was from me changing from normal coat to magic in the race or not. Either way, I don't find it much of a problem except for the fact there was virtually no indication of knowing that the race caused the bug and therefore no way of fixing it. (Relogging didn't work, changing horses didn't either, nor placing the horse back in the pasture and stable, etc. The only thing that worked was RE-going through the race. If I hadn't happened to find help from one person as no one else was talking about online (any of the typical sso sites, specifically the reddit) or in the game, It wouldn't be resolved. I did inform SSO of this and they were super polite but obviously they weren't going to fix it as the event was ending soon anyway.
I have a thoery that maybe that castle in Golden Hills is home to the warewolves since that quest we did to track them down was around the paths that lead up to that castle.
I like the new wardrobe though it's going to take a little time to sort out. But now I can have all my outfits and go to items on the same page and they aren't in tiny-tiny eyestrain icons. (I play on a PC. I wouldn't like to guess how small they are on phone.) I am with you on the sheer lack of interest across Jorvik for these kinds of events. Halloween and the Winter Village aren't bad as there are characters you can interact with. But everyone else is just "oh a ghost. Must be Tuesday". It makes the world just feel so lifeless. I sometimes wish we could get reputation with individuals the same way we do with areas and factions. If you build up enough friendship with an NPC, you could invite them to come trick or treating with you. Maybe loan them a mask which gives the ones from the shop another use. This gives you some new dialog and gives SSO an idea of those characters who are the most popular with the player base. Mini-games could be fun (like you I am so bored of racing and jumping I welcome dressage even though I'm terrible at it. Lunging just feels a bit like slowed down racing to me) but they could be problematic. I'm reminded of the Pumpkins and Ghosts mini-game from the Keep. It's okay but the human characters do not control well and you can't see half the pumpkins. I'd prefer something like playing hide and seek in the castle with the ghosts you've found. Maybe a game where you have to get your horse to move and rear in time with certain signals. Or go on the haunted trail ride and have to surprise people, giving another use for the masks and costumes. Like you said, it just feels like the same thing and we could use a little something more to mix it up. Do you have any other mini-games you'd like to see? The story quest addition was interesting, but I have no idea who the character they introduced in it was. I get the feeling we should know them and they are pretty key to the lore of the game but I can't recall ever learning about them.I'm intrigued though so hopefully they'll do more on this.

I love the wardrobe too! The search feature and the default saddles, bridles etc is amazing! And being able to also pull up our character sheets!!

I do like the trail blazer. Stable care and gems are my favorite rewards. The wardrobe is well done, looks good to me.
