Actually pre-TOS, like something after the NX-01, but before the Constitution class. Kind of like a Daedalus class variant on the same level as the Reliant or Nebula classes.
The spherical primary hull has many advantages, since it has the lowest surface area per volume of any other shape. That means the least amount of hull material is needed, meaning less weight, and lowest cross-section from any given direction. There are no inherent weak spots, and it takes less time to move from any one part to another.
As an Original Star Trek watcher, I'm an absolute sucker for the TOS aesthetic. Bravo, that is fantastic! Wish STO would add more of that style to the game.
You hit the TOS feeling. I like it .

I love how the music matched the action so well. Great editing. Love the design of the station. Thx

That was awesome, great job.
Awesome 👍
Love the audio.
Love it. The textures and lighting make it feel like the old 'Rudolph' Christmas stop-motion shows. But better, of course.
Yes, this very much fits in with the overall TOS style of designs.
Well done!
Cool starbase!

How big is this starbase supposed to be if it can fit an entire ship INSIDE it!?
