Yes ..the battle with her ex partner and custody of her children. She is a survivor! Love Melissa and she's matured into a sophisticated woman! She has a lot in common with Tina Arena as they both have lived in France for years and are Australia artists. I often wonder if they know each other as a result.Nice interview.
I met her in a Club in Sydney years ago, when she was around 18 years old. I did not know who she was until she told me. I just recall she was very friendly & polite. I don't think the French government was to happy, after she was convicted of domestic violence, along with her X husband & then trying to smuggle her two children out of the country on a friend's private jet. No wonder they did not give her full custody.
@@SunRise-ul7ko WOW..Thanks so much for sharing your story! She has gone through hell with that very arrogant and rich ex-husband of hers..I believe her side of the story . She is so underrated and is brilliant in The Mosquito Coast. Australians work hard and sadly there is a tall poppy syndrome at play. I love her spirit and resilience.
