They put the price up every year for the usual operators ID, without explaining why this Tax has gone up. They seem to be looking at making as much money per year by increasing the price knowing more and more people buy drones and will have to pay this Tax to the government via the CAA . Why can’t these things be free ?
Of course! The efficiency has doubled from 'totally incompetent' to just 'incompetent'. Just think what it would cost should they ever get to the heady heights of below average.
This is my second year as a mini 3 user. And this bothers me. As graham said. It will prevent me from going forward in the hobby. like everything these days. It's just about filling the pockets of the fruits in suits.
Here, in Sweden, the registration costs some money, per year. No other fees to pay. Renewing the license, every 5 years, likely costs some money... Will You launch a summing up video?
I think the elephant in the room is SORA. It has the potential to make operating drones commercially way too complex. There is nothing in the pipeline to streamline regulations. When you delve into PDRA01 RA's they are already complex - SORA takes everything to the next level.
Directly impacts commercial flyers in the specific category, but we are asking everyone to take a look at the consultation and provide feedback on the charge increase. If it happens here, it could happen for everyone eventually.
Sadly, it is not the price increase but the squeeze it represents. That indicates the direction things are being taken and that will impact every user.
It’s the principle that matters. Their costs are not going up this much. They are simply greedy as they see more people getting into drones, so they see more money. As a government service/utility, it’s not right.
Oh.. what a surprise 😂 .I've been flying FPV for nearly 10 years now. I find the best way around the problem is . DON'T PAY THE CAA . Just saying 😂🤣

Steady! 😂
Prices on everything is going up and it’s only going to get worse, we lucky oxygen is free at this time
I think you might be paying for oxygen as well 🧐 maybe through council tax? or maybe through everything that you buy, you sell, you earn, you do?
The CAA made a net profit of £11.2m in 2023 with a corporation bill of £2.3million - also why no increase for the drone registration scheme?

Hi Stefan! Yes, the TLDR short video will be out tomorrow.
@@Geeksvana Thanks! The real time chatter is a bit too intensive for a foreigner...

So does this affect the average hobby flyer, or is this more for those who fly commercially or fly something bigger than 250 grams?
