I see what you mean. I usually interpret the other hand as being super focused, because it seems like a tough job - one probably has to be super in sync to pull it off. I couldn’t blame them for being bored though either, it must be a strange experience to be cast as “the arm”

You know a puppeteer succeeds in their job when, even though you can see them puppeting their character, you don't think of their voice as coming from the human but from the PUPPET.
I was thinking the same thing. It's also pretty impressive that the puppeteers are conveying the facial expression that should be coming from the character.

Idk most second hands I’ve seen looked pretty happy. Like every 2nd hand for Trekkie Monster is always pretty on point with the main singer puppeteer.
Mostly because those productions are...well...bad.
