You know a puppeteer succeeds in their job when, even though you can see them puppeting their character, you don't think of their voice as coming from the human but from the PUPPET.
I was thinking the same thing. It's also pretty impressive that the puppeteers are conveying the facial expression that should be coming from the character.

Well, they did work with The Jim Henson Company and the Sesame Street team before Avenue Q, so they have considerable experience as puppeteers.
Mom gave birth to me and didn't think that I'd grow up to ship to puppets together.

Idk most second hands I’ve seen looked pretty happy. Like every 2nd hand for Trekkie Monster is always pretty on point with the main singer puppeteer.
