. I like how that Otho refill writes, and I still prefer it than that 0,5 mm. Parker gel refill. The strokes of the Otho is somewhat thinner that those written with the Parker. But I don't like the shape of the tip of the Otho refill in a Parker ballpoint pen. By the way, there are some very good and effective German refills, they're suitable for a Parker ballpoint pen. You can get them via Amazon or Ebay, one of them is the Schmidt 9000 Easy Flow, it is a very good option, it writes as fine as the Otho refill, I recommend it. .
deykno87 ahh. I managed to find a place that stocks them over at fishpond.com. Cost me $16 for one refill. I ordered it before I saw your reply. I also found out that the website has some pretty bad reviews so we’ll see if I have to go through PayPal buyer protection. How do you like the .55mm refill?
So I was in my local Office Depot yesterday, and to my surprise, they had fine Parker gel refills hanging on the rack. It looks like these have finally crossed the pond from Europe to the U.S. This is good news for us in North America who love the Jotter but wanted to see a .5mm tip gel version. Woohoo! After I discovered hybrid low viscosity ink it's the ink type I use the most now for 90% of my writing, for school and general daily writing. It's the best of both worlds cause it retains the pros of a oil based ballpoint, but it's almost as smooth as a rollerball or a gel, and lasts way longer than a gel refil. I like the Mitsubishi Jetstream hybrid refills, the stabilo liner, the Bic Atlantis But I also reallu enjoy gel pens, the pilot Hi-tec is my favorite because of the fine needle point. I also LOVE the gelly roll sets for drawing and art, and the Pentel Slicci too for color sets in fine points like the Hi-tec's And on the rollerball end, I'm a huge fan of the Pentel B100 timeless, great writing feeling but also cheap
didnt knew it is a 0.5 parker. ty for letting us know. nice jotters u have, you can review them as well. change the 2 barrels and youll get an all metal BLACK jotter!!!!!!! ty
Acm Ramon Hey, I like that all black idea. It never even occurred to me. I'll take the black bottom one to the office tomorrow and give it a try. It might look sweet.
The fear of the Lord is indeed the beginning of wisdom. Thanks for the review. I am currently using the ohto and I love the fine tip and quick dry. I am a lefty so that matters a lot for me. The one issue I am having is that the pen starts off skipping quite a bit when I start using it. Have you had that issue with continued use? I did not know about the parker .55 gel though. Maybe I will give that a try.
Don't know if you know by now or not but pilot makes a needle point pen by now that might be a good gel alternative to the ohto for posted notes if you like the ohto so much and the park .55 you might like the pilot needle point
So ... six months later. The Schmidt Easyflow is smoother, IMO. It's more buttery, if I could put it that way. But my personal preference is still gel. The Ohto is more smudge free.
You are a SAINT. I've been looking for a parker refill that writes like a Pilot G2 0.5mm. Thanks man!
You're welcome! Glad this helped.
I bought a Muji pen that came with the Ohto ink. It took me months to figure out the standard. Now I buy 5-packs of refills.
All refills should be transparent to allow us check the ink level.
Your vídeos are very good.
Best regards from Brazil, Mário.

Otho ball orn refil is very similar to Spanish Inoxcrom refil. Try you it!
My favourite is the UNI Jetstream in "Parker style" cartridge
The schneider gelion 39 is also a goed alternative to the Parker gel refill

Is the Pentel Energel needle tip compatible with this pen?

Do you have a recommendation for a good, reliable hybrid refill?

Jordan Quinley wowww. It looks like a premium expensive jotter!!! U should send to Parker this pic maybe they will do those for customers. Nice😎
Parker just released a Parker Jotter XL monochrome edition all matte black colour😄 maybe they saw your photo
Are they waterproof? I'm having problem with Schneider gelion 39 which is not so waterproof.. my writings will smear if the paper get wet..

Hi. Does this Pilot gel fit in a Parker ballpoint pen? Can you give me a link?
Hello, can you compare ohto to schmidt easy flow in term of smoothnes. I would buy ohto gel needlepoint but dont know is smooth as easyflow, thanks.
