I think like with Rx 6000 it under reports power, it records the TDP not the TGP, so it's probably 30-40W higher, however, still impressive and more efficient than RDNA 3
I'm pretty sure it's misleading, and that the software misreports power draw for Radeon and Arc cards. It's likely at least 20-30W higher. Still pretty decent though.
All intel gpus are sold out. It is really hard to find available ones for msrp, unfortunately. Both amd and nvidia cards are more expensive and provide less fps. Intel just does not have users' trust yet, but with these kinds of performance, they definitely can take entry level gpus market.
I appreciate a lot that Intel doesn't give up in the GPU market, although I won't buy Intel either. I'll stick to AMD or Nvidia GPUs, but with Intel coming into this market, I hope they won't do price agreements and practice fair competition. I don't have evidence here, but they are together increasing the price gradually. And this is only my opinion
🏎️🌀⚠️🆘 *Please,* let's have a poll every week - in which old games would you like to see tests of certain popular video cards and thereby compare their power there? I'm especially interested in 1440p resolution, because now 240 and 360 Hz monitors have come out. For example: 4070 Super vs RX 7800XT in Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor/War, GTA 5 REDUX, Shadow of Tomb Raider, Elden Ring, FAR CRY 5, FAR CRY 3, GTA 4 ENB, Max Payne, Mafia 2, Bioshock Infinite, Dying Light, Mafia: Definitive Edition, Days Gone, Battlefield 2042, World War Z, Witcher 2 and others, which WE, SUBSCRIBERS, will suggest to you))) It would be especially cool in 1080p, for example, to compare 4060 vs B580, which are about the same price. And also compare them in 1440p 7900XTX vs 4080Super. Thanks! *Please support me so that **#TestingGames**™ can see!*
the gaming benchmark is... and distorts the true performance of both cards. If you can afford a 500 euro CPU (not to mention the 9800x3d), you're unlikely to invest in a 300 euro GPU in your PC. The other way around would probably be more appropriate... 300 euro CPU and 500 euro GPU. A comparison with an R5 or i5 is more realistic. Hopefully the author won't bombard us with the 5090+9800x3d for months, like he did with the 4090 and i9/x3d. A "best of" every now and then would be enough, the average consumer probably doesn't have an i9/9800x3d
Looking to buy this at 330 over rx 7600 xt which is 350. Of course you can get a used one 6800xt for that money or 6700xt for less but it will be used and previous generation amd more power hungry. The b580 looks very promising and definitely has driver issues on some games. For example where it perfoms well it has 100% usage at 110w, and where it's not it has 100% usage at 50w. Definitely driver optimization issues.
Nice going from the B570, just shame it is nowhere to be found for the MSRP, same issue B580 has since day one:( I would throw out Dragon Age Veilguard from your benchmarks. No one cares about that game.
Fake and misleading reviews all over internet for arc b580 and b570. Please review those video cards with budget CPU like Ryzen 3600 or 5600 and the intel equivalents. People with budget CPU will buy this card, people with high end CPU will buy Nvidia 5070. At the moment GeForce 4060 is the better and the solid choice for the budget CPU. All RUclipsrs are clickbait scammers and afraid to make a real review like the other who discovered the Intel Arc Problems and overhead issues
The driver overhead thing has been covered ad naseum by RUclipsrs. Techspot did extensive testing using the B580 paired with an R5 5600 and compared it to the 4060. Despite the issue, the B580 still has the lowest cost per frame on the market, and at 1440p resolution, it still beats the 4060 in average performance. As for the B570, a RUclipsr did testing paired with mid-range CPUs and found that it doesn't suffer from this issue to the same extent as the B580. I do not recommend the 4060 at all. It may have superior performance in some games, but its 8GB of VRAM is no longer enough for current AAA games.

can't wait to see b770 performance
And also price
@@IvanCheskidov yeah
Releasing it late 2025 will kill the hype for intel arc b770. Also by that time it will be compared with rtx 5060 and 5060ti
16gb, $350 and same performance as 4070.
@@smuggy8576I'll take that
Intel's power draw on these new cards is genuinely inpressive
Too bad the power draw numbers are false and are only reading the power draw of the chip only

I'm genuinely impressed with this. I hope the B570 won't have the overhead issues.
sadly b570 has overhead issue
You'll need AM5 for the intel graphics cards like Ryzen 5 7500f is at $100 on AliExpress
@husenqadr-x5z any proofs for that?
@ its driver issue so new cpus like intel 13th 14th gen and amd ryzen 7 7800x3d 9800x3d will work excellent
@ i hope intel will release b770 gpu without overhead issue
Most people hyped for Arc B570 and 580 will end up buying nvidia or amd gpus. They only want gpu makers to compete but never buy the inferior card
Because why make the risk for worse products + the 5060 and rx 9060 are coming for better performance and stability
True.. I'm one of them. Always end up with Nvidia or AMD
I bought the Arc B580, very pleased with it. Am I a PC gaming hero now? ;)

Great video 🎉
In most games difference is like 10% but in SH2 and Hellblade 2 difference is massive
the avgs:
mean of the avgs = 14.0%
geomean of the avgs = 14.5%
the 1% lows:
mean = 14.9%
geomean = 14.9%
Spent less 13% price and get less 10 fps, B570 is not bad
B570 is for 1080p gaming whereas B580 is for 1440p gaming
@@furqansayyed144 1440p with upscaling, i dont think b580 can play recent AAA crap optimization at native 2k

Did you switched on the rebar from bios
Apparently Intel GPU required resizable bar motherboard
yeah arc gpus needs rebar on so badly
Can rendering and creative video production be included in each card test?
its good comparison, 30 dollar cheaper means average 10 fps slower

11th inst old...
this is how 70 80 series difference should be made, nvidia

difference between 6600, 6650xt and 7600 in 2025 please
wtf, so are they just the same card? they perform the same essentially lol

B570 soon will drop to 200 and the B580 will continue to msrp price because of demand.
