    Thank you very much . Your explanation about painting concepts and your style of approaching the subject with clarity is rewarding even for an artist like me who has been painting for some time. I went back and looked at my paintngs which I liked and they have similar concepts but i did not know at that time. Really thankful to you and will follow your guidelines in my future paintings.

      I really appreciate you explaining how you find the values and start with a medium value before putting in the variations of value. I have been learning watercolor so I’d have to start with the light and add in the dark but I think this will help me a lot.

    Interestingly (although perhaps not surprisingly) Guy Rose came over from California, trained in Paris, met with Monet and lived and painted for a period in Giverny.
