How can you look at what Arsenal have done as a negative? We stuck within the rules and have prospered while following the rules. So, we're in a position of our own making, a position that we have earned. I've been watching Arsenal for almost 50 years... as fans we have had to go through some awful times to get where we deserve to be. Only for clubs like city bending all those rules to rob, not just us, but every other team in the PL of any chance of success... If they win this case, the sport is dead. End of...

Enthralling discussion on MC charges, Bravo gents. Julian, I want to preface this next comment by telling you I love the passion in your vids. I also love the fact that you wanted to see the MC charges from different views than your own. THAT IS A BRILLIANT VIRTUE. BUT...after you made some terrific points about MC, Robbie laid down cold hard and undoubtable facts to counter some of your view. Especially about MC now saying the PL rules they signed up for are unfair. That is desperation by MC. Its dispicable! But faced with what Robbie said, you just doubled down again to many of the points you made that Robbie shot down. The only chance MC have are the owners claiming discrimination against the PL. Not because its true! But because the times we live in (where you can sometimes just claim you are a victim for no reason) give MC a half chance. Another virtue Julian is to admit you are wrong.

The problem with VAR for me is two fold ! First the bar is so high that refs in VAR are afraid to over turn like Robbie was saying but even worse for ne is that the screen on field has become redundant! It is only viewed when being overturned.. so why take a look anyway? In the Newcastle incident I don't understand how the ref wasn't once called to the screen! The on-field ref can decide to stick with his decision or not. On field screen should be used to review!

Regarding your both glowing take on Nketiah, I refer to the grumpy old git, Bricktop, "get your Tongue out of Eddie's ahole"
Julian says he's high energy, yet I've seen him stroll around for several games, disinterested.
Robbie, the reason why he get such bad transfer fees for sold players, is because of their high wages, which is offset by a lower transfer fee from the buying club, as the player naturally so, won't accept a big wage drop.
Nketiah should've been sold last summer, when his stock was a bit higher, now he's been proven to be an AFC reject.
He seems a nice fella so I wish him well, but wish him, Zinn, Ramsdale, Vieira & Nelson gone to bring in some money for squad player upgrades

Julien's point regarding City is such a straw-man's arguement. The rules were made to protect the PRODUCT and you can't use an 80yr old incident (when players had to go to their other jobs after playing a match) to justify what's happening in this instance. The landscape's changed tremendously-football today is a multi-billion dollar game. I remember when the rules were amended, due to Chelsea abusing it, and City agreed to the new stipulations. The issue with accepting more money (power) is that the consequences (responsibilities) become more steep. The stakes are very high for every member of the league and you can't simply threaten (this is exactly what City is doing) to burn the building down, when you're caught with your hands in the cookie jar. They're being accused of knowingly breaking rules that jeopardize the chief selling point of the Premier League brand, PARITY (as evidenced in the distribution model of the TV revenue). This is the issue with letting in non ‘fit and proper owners’, with overinflated egos, who care not for the integrity of the sporting competition they'd joined.
Personally, the other Premier League partners should consider expelling them if they fail to retract that lawsuit.

its not democracy when 95%% of the clubs advantage over a certain particular issue. each of these clubs haven't got the ability to spend so they hold back the few that do due to being in the majority. its like being married, you have a wife and she limits your ability to succeed in your life. its unlawful in that sense if your in a relationship that one party is harming the other.

backing man city in this court case tbh because in my book they have been one step of the game from the get go...Bottom line FFP protects the big 6 and as a villa fan who's owners are literally on par with you lot in terms of wealth (do your homework) and yet have to sell to buy this isn't fair...What makes me laugh is everybody talking about what happens if city win this??? what about that lot from the North East worth £700b !!! City's time has gone its now newcastle's turn...Roll on the superleague....As for the prem league-Biggest crooks of the lot for how long it has taken with regards these 115 charges...

so having a top team comes down to who wins the richest owners lottery rather than the organic wealth a club generates. How is swapping Arsenal/United for City/Newcastle beneficial to anyone. Its all fun and games until the owners die or get bored with their toys and clubs like villa drown in debt when all the directors loans get called in by uninterested family members.

If you're going to do a lod on the subject then make sure you're clued up on it. Theres no "what if" they're guilty. Everyone knws they've been pumping money into the club via inflated sponsorships. They're not denying it. What the cheats are trying to argue is theres nothing wrong with it.

I don’t know this guy discussing with Robi. He is too sympathetic to City. Arsenal was never in the position that City is now. City knew what they are doing but felt they will cover it up. Now, City are trying to wear the PL with endless legal challenges. The ultimate end result is to find opportunity to destroy the PL. This isn’t something you would say I understand City’s position. There is nothing to understand here. This is pure evil. It may have been protecting the privilege of the big clubs. But, in the past Clubs have organically grown and achieved success. Leister is a good example. City is just a guilty try to maneuver the laws and the institutions in the hope they avoid facing the consequences of their financial doping. They would have achieved success without using the anti- competitive corrupt practices. That is why Liverpool, Lester, Spurs and Arsenal have been able to challenge them in the past few seasons. So, for him to sympathize with city especially by bringing unrelated nonsense from history doesn’t show his fairness but he doesn’t understand both the law and City’s charges or intentions. Arsenal have always maintained under Arsen Wenger an example to financial FairPlay. We lost our players to City not because they are better but they were able to go using these hidden deals. So, let them face the music.
