- Here is Sands 747SP final departure out of Las Vegas for Kansas City! It was such a sad moment to see the final day this aircraft will leave Las Vegas for good. Rumors have that the next owner will keep it flying still or it will end up in the TWA museum. I'm hoping she still gets another life of flying around the world to showcase such an iconic aircraft. Actively flying, there are only 3 SPs still actively flying, hopefully BLK remains part of the three still flying! BLK has graced Las Vegas and the world for 17 years! Hopefully she will continue to fly with a new owner and come visit us again soon! Farewell VP-BLK! As always, I hope you enjoy the video!

I cried. I was there the day before it took off.
While this is a sad day in Las Vegas aviation history, all good things must come to an end. Thank you for capturing it over the years.
That’s true they all come to an end! I’m glad I was able to capture it and post it for all you guys to see over the years!

Hope it will continue flying, otherwise the SP slowly but surely out of the skies for good in general. Nice catch!

Was fortunate to surprisingly see this classic plane take off in San Diego. What a pleasant surprise it was.
Never been sadder about a 01R departure 😢
Neither have I man!😭😭
Ah man this is sad but we need to look forward on what the future might bring us
You got that right for sure!
I wish sands can get a widebody plane but this is my favorite private plane I love the pw engine sound and I wish this sands 747sp stays in Vegas forever
Love the sounds as well! Word on the street is that they are getting a 777
They also have an a340-500
Do they still have the A340?? What a sad thing to see 😔
Yes they still have the 340!
