They basically made Woodkids latest album together. Ryan produced a lot of the album :)

@@jonathanluders1564 I remember loving the lyrics on I think it was "Reactor" or "Minus Sixty One," and I looked at who wrote the lyrics and I was like "WHAT! RYAN LOTT WROTE THIS?"
Now I understand why I liked S16 so much hahaha
I would also be very happy to see Ryan and Yoann create more masterpieces together!

I appreciate both of them. Son Lux is like food for the brain and the soul.
But Woodkid is really special to me. As my father in law died, Iron was the (sound)track which carried me 2011 through the toughest moments, when I was alone and collecting my energy for the family.
Both working together is like... wow...

I love your collab song Central Park!
I looked everywhere but can never find any information about it.
    Who wrote it?
    Why was it never released?
    Was it even a collaboration?
Was it a live only thing like the Volcano performance?
I know it was heavily inspired by Nice Weather
    by Frederick Seidel!
I would love to get to know the story behind the song!!

I think I read in an interview that Ryan and Yoann wrote it together, each of them wrote the parts that they are singing and Ryan arranged it for the orchestra, if I remember correctly. It seems like it was meant as a special event, but it's too bad that they are not releasing it officially because I also really love the song.

God I love you both for that track

I was blown away by Woodkid's Volcano and was the first time I realized the value of a live show. Energetic music with expressive vocals. At the same time I find Ryan Lott's music (and by extension Son Lux) more impactful when listened alone, lying down, and using the imagination to create the visuals. Almost like tripping acid :p
Very different styles, and I love both. Still need to go to a Woodkid live show.

Wish the podcast was more organized I rarely get to see Woodkid in long interviews it took a long time for you guys to get comfortable with the conversation. Was cool though!
