It's not about poison bomb. It's about having more weapon poisons that proc during Kingsbane which makes it do more damage through caustic spatter. Also having the amplified envenom that does dmg with caustic.
Great video! I was just thinking last night that I wish someone would just talk about the assassination spec with all of its synergies, and how to differ your rotation based on situations. I think another great video would be to commentate a dungeon to explain your decision making. Maybe another one that goes over someones elses run, and you could point out mistakes, etc.

ive been adding a crimson tempest before the burst window so: garrote > garrote > rapture > fan > slice and dice > fan > crimson tempest > fan > mutilate > envenom > trink + mark > tea + shiv > kingsbane > envenom and so on. the only part that's different to Yoda's is the added fan into crimson tempest and I seem to be getting a consistent 800k ish burst with this every time. it made all the sense in the world to me since mark doubles bleeds and CT is a bleed.
This is a better opener if the pack will live for the entire burst window but I have been running into issues with my deathmark target in particular dying too fast even in high fort keys so I didn't recommend it in the video guide. I have a "full ramp" opener in the text version.
Did you just happen to forget slice and dice or do we typically not use it on AOE packs? Also, kind of random, but can you explain how you are using 1 for mutilate and T for envenom while still being able to move your char? And shift B for trinket?... Honestly not enough videos are done for keyboard layouts. If you'd consider making one that would be amazing
What do you use T for when it comes the movement? Alot of people like me will unbind turn and only have Forward, back and strafe. Some people even unbind S. Alot of people use Shift or CTRL + the movement keys for actions too.
@@arsonneunbind backpedal has gotta be one of the oldest troll recommendations lol. If u need to do a super small controlled move backwards (staying in melee range, but moving out of the mob aoe circle) it is made 999% harder without S bound
This is why nightelf is really bis here because of what he mentions when we can’t get a restealth. With meld you can get a free restealth any time you want and with subterfuge you pump stronger garrotes out on a 2 min timer free. Dwarf and DI dwarf racials save lives on higher keys tho so it’s a tough trade tbh.
all guides are pretty much the same, and i didnt find a single guide who talks about 4 piece / energy pooling. do u spam envenmom? do u only use it in pandemic range? when to pool etc.
I don't think Master poisoner is a really impactful talent in the class tree, I think it could be dropped if you really need 2 charges of feint. MP with Atrophic sometimes does not reduce the damage of certain abilities from bosses because the source of damage is not coming directly from the boss
@Orie Guo are you sure that "Augury of the Primal Flame" the fyrrak trinket ist gonna be good? i got it in the weekly vault on heroic loot, it sims rly low and bloodmallet and my own sims telling me it is bad :/
Your rogue is fricking awesome. Can you voice over like game play, while you're teaching the rogue and maybe edit shots of what you want to show like talents, cause bro... you are walking around like that makes it very hard to watch. mahalo.

For a kb aoe its more valuable to set up 5 ruptures for scent of blood 20% agility, slice and dice and an envenom for a much stronger kb window. You can use ct as the first spender after you shiv - kb - garotte. However, if you don't have kb avaliable for the next pack then you can try sending it earlier. For example, garotte - garotte - rupture - fok - mutilate - rupture - fok - shiv - crimson tempest. Then you just choose prio target and fok+envenom into it, maintaining spatter every 10 sec with a mutilate/ambush
Witherbarks is bis and Cataclysmic Signet Brand For Single target and in raid. In m+ it works also but you can also take the Accelerating Sandglass if your dont have enough tempo
How can people consistently perform a rotation where you have to use spells at specific seconds left on a debuff? On dummies I get it but in mythic+? I hate that this game is so complicated.
get a WA for your class, the shiv debuff for example has a duration bar that you can easily follow in most WAs. unfortunately the game is pretty unplayable without addons competetively.
i think outlaw is much more complex really, or hard to play at least - you gotta be reactive to your buffs and procs at all times while still ccing packs. when playing assa as long as you keep your bleeds up and pull off your combo you're good
Good video, but no need to continuously spin your character and camera around. It’s very distracting: Also edit your video to apply a step by step list for the opener, for new players not knowing your personal keybinds, your single target opener can be confusing when you get quiet.
I don't think you can trigger sudden demise properly on dummies and that's what he's running. When in doubt don't assume that you're better than one of the best rogues in the world, instead figure out if you're missing something.
can u read my comment again? i never said im better. i just said i deal more damage on dummies than him even though my gear is worse. its probably about the talents i see noone go without the double poison shit cause it synergizes so well with Kingsbane and caustic Spatter@@Quiet_9

Worth noting that on 2+ targets you will need to maintain caustic splash using Mutilate (10 secs duration on splash).

feels weird playing blindside without improved ambush,and feels weird playing AP without tiny toxic blade

you should have slice and dice up for kingsbane its a large amount of dmg, garrote snd garrote fan rupture fan rupture mut env burst combo

Its Not as good as you think. The tooltips reads really nice but there are trinkets which are way more better for assa.
