Crawlers on the walls...
CRAWLERS. ON. THE. WALLS.
Crawlers…. In the walls!
You know in game they’re gonna be on the ground, hopefully this time they can actually crawl on the walls and ceilings
This reminds me of the hype for Payday 3 when we saw the Cloaker wallrun
@@ReeceRacc noooo please!!!
One of the most underappreciated MP franchises of all time frfr.
One is a gem but 2 got all the critic it deserved.
Underapreciated? No. Both KF1 and KF2 were highly regarded upon their launch respectivelly (and KF1 stood strong for years after)
... but eventually, Tripwire jampacked them with microtransactions and broken weapons gated behind dlc packs, which naturally a large portion of their playerbase protested against and many still do to this day. It is not without reason that the franchise faded away in popularity overtime.
@@krixtorei KF2's general playerbase is still relatively strong and consistent, and though I agree somewhat with the microtransactions and the gated weapons - everyone has access to them provided only *one* person has it, which is far better than what most other studio's would do with microtransactions of that sort.
And besides, there are custom servers that provide players with all the DLC weapons (and more) - not to mention any cosmetics which you could want (which, personally speaking, idc about the microtransactional nature of cosmetics)
@@krixtorei thank saber, the game was handed over to them a while back i'm pretty sure and they're honestly not bad at keeping games "alive", and won't really fundementally ruin the game, but they also don't really add much and really like their microtransactions. this one doesn't seem to have them working with them, so that's a good thing
Yes I agree the Casuals like L4D because it's easy lol
I’m so proud they released the first one with little money left yet hit it so successfully.
I’m glad they’re focusing a lot on fun, too. I’m looking forward.
For those who excited for killing floor 3!!!
KF1 was amazing. after me and my hommies finished L4D games, we played KF1 and were so stunned by how this game was good and underrated
I absolutely love seeing some of the creative process and mindset that went into one of my favorite franchises
Never got a chance to play killing floor one but I put 20 days in the killing floor two absolutely loved it.
Been playing this since the beginning of the franchise can’t wait to see how they expand the gameplay in 3!
Kf1 had a much more fun skill ceiling that Kf2 lacked. I'm hoping KF3 brings it back. Of course, with its own fun new things.
Been a big fan since KF 1 and I'm glad to see some of the original people are still working on KF 3.
Killinfloor 2 doesnt get eno7gh credit for how GOOD the gameplay was and how mutch fun it was with the different weapons and classes!
It was a bit bareboned on release but it got a lot better with updates
I wish developers were more confident with showing WIP gameplay and developer footage. This is a solid video.
"The Killing Floor franchise, for us, has always been about microtransactions..."
killing floor 1 was somewhat alright but killing floor 2 got pretty outrageous towards the end, it's probably managements fault, the developers deserve all the praise
I don't mind the microtransactions really, new guns or skins are completely optional.
Also players can share the DLC in the lobby so really, only 1 out of 6 players needs to own them. It's also priced pretty okay for it being shareable.
@@froireier the thing is, everyone wants new guns, especially when they have unique features or playstyles which would benefit the overall replayability of the game if they would be accessible to everyone, only 1 person needing the DLC is good but that's still not enough imo
Very excited for the third game, loved the first 2 so much!
Hello from Marietta GA!!
I hope they return to the vibe killing floor 1 had, the creatures felt much creepier than 2
3:42 that tunnel with the crawlers looks insane. Wonder how long it is
wow wasnt expecting this, KF2 was awesome!
Zeds interacting with the enviroment, awesome.
I am excited to see how this goes
MAKE KILLING FLOOR PLAYABLE OFFLINE
I hope they deliver a blast of a game.
I can't wait to see the launch date announcement they need to time this right considering the line up they are going against like GTA6
You guys came a long way ❤
Oh yeah!!! Love playing this game with friends....
I'm surprised they didn't talk about the OG Killing Floor. The unreal tournament mod. Gotta start somewhere.
Killing floor 1 was my first official steam game. I hope they monetize this game differently than KF2.
La saga mas infravalorada cuando inicias ya no puedes parar.
this worries me when the lead on the game says they are making it more main stream. That statement alone lowers my expectations of what made this game great. Dont lose touch with your core audience chasing the cod crowd, remember what made the first 2 great build on it. main stream is definitely not what this game was about
I get what you mean but cod hasn’t been mainstream in awhile. It could be more like helldivers 2
Agreed. No modern gaming elements needed. Just make it fun. I’m hoping they won’t go down the current day route.
I'm hoping that mainly means QoL additions like a polished UI but I agree with you that fishing for COD players is a bad move.
Yes, paired with the fact that they look to be going 200% with the science-horror direction of KF2 and really minimalizing the grunge that gave 1 and 2 character worries me, at least from the screenshots I've seen. So far, its raising the same concerns I had in regard to creature and environment details that Back 4 Blood had when they came out as a spiritual successor to L4D2
@@mistermorphescarnoe2898 KF2 is very, very heavily steeped in science-horror I feel. Though debatably I don't think KF2 holds a candle to the grungy horror aspect that KF1 originally had. My personal hope is that by "science-horror", they mean to indulge in the best of both worlds with KF1/KF2. Grungy horror from KF1, while retaining the science/cult-based theming of KF2.
I hope for the people that they actually keep their word this time. Where they said "no weapon dlcs" well well well in Kf2 the dlcs started piling up + the tons of skins.
Nobody cares about Skins tbh, and the dosh vault thing literally hands you skins for free. As for the weapon DLC's, I agree with that, but you can still get it so long as 1 other person in your lobby has the DLC's. And if not? Custom servers let you use the DLC weapons + modded ones which can be just as fun to use
Plus they still released free weapons along with the dlc. They were honest with us and said "hey, we cant keep a profit doing what we were doing before, this is how it will be going forward." You get nothing but my respect for that (and also my money)
While fans of the original might have been happier if they'd maintained that original theming and style, I'm kind of happy they're trying to do something a little different with each title. It feels like most games nowadays are remakes or remasters, it feels nice that at least some studios are trying for slightly new things even if they aren't reinventing the wheel.
I JUST CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS MICROTRANSACTION RIDDLED GAME!!!!!!!! I mean come on guys look at killing floor 2s monitization you really think this will be any different?
Imagine if we got killing floor 1 on consoles , oh how i could dream!!
cyborg demons and stylish killing scenes sound really familiar, hmm🤔
THESE PEOPLE ARE BUNCH OF GOREFAST FLASHPOUND GENIUSES! ONE OF THE BEST ZOMBIE GAMES EVER!
Pls make a story mode campaign also. That would be goty 👍
tripwire is one of the goodguys
Finally a modern game where the devs are truly passionate about their game
make baby zeds but make them attack in a horde like in WWZ.
I love this franchise
I hope they add more weapons and gadgets this time.
FIX THE MEDIC BOOSTERS PLEASE!!
Dosh. Grab it while you can lads.
wasn't that many cash shop items too...
Killing floor 2 went from smooth weapon animation to weapon animations from temu
Cash on legs!! Let's get it!
Don't forget to optimize the game like so many game developers don't do nowadays
I was really hoping they'd go back to the grindcore feel. Oh well, hopefully new gameplay changes make up for it
it looks like they're mixing both, even better.
Killing Floor 1 is the biggest competition they have to overcome now with KF3.
Is the game coming out or not
if they don't add proper mod support to this one i'm pirating it too >:(
Music giving me DOOM Vibes.
Please let this be good, don't let this be like another Payday 3 situation.
I missed all the funny voice lines in Kf2. I prefer the more British less serious in the face of destruction kf1
Just remember what happened with payday 3.... expect the worst, hope for the best.
Hopefully it doesn’t pull a payday 3
Spielt hier jemand killing floor?
WIE BIDDE?!
If you're sticking with perks, then could you make medic less selfish, just saying :/
Important that kf3 be that rude as kf1. I mean, the nice lines and strong language the characters had. Kf2 got family friendly lines and it was a shame. Kf is such a very crude environment, so, the guys must behave like so
The boss design was always bad in KF2 and never got corrected. Not too hopeful for KF3.
Why are they working on 3 when KF2 still has obnoxious problems like being permanently unplayable on a *lot* of people's PCs even if you refund, and buy the game again. I personally, bought and refunded it twice and it would never work.
KF2 used to have optimization problems in the beginning (and some server-side issues 2~3+ years back), but I'm not aware of any persistent performance issues these days? Me and all my friends play it fine with no issue, beyond the occasional crash when they Alt+Tab while loading into the game trying to do a bunch of other processes
@@WhiskArlington I didn't buy the game until a few years after it's release. Can probably find old forums about the issue if you Google it. it was a recurring problem for a lot of people. Nobody ever figured out why it happened or how to fix it. All the suggestions to delete temp files or change launch options etc, all that didn't work. Would just get some type of error upon launch. Wish I could remember the specific error. Everyone it happened to probably just stopped trying to play altogether at some point
@@WhiskArlington my point is, I'm willing to bet if I were to fresh install the game right now on the same machine I used originally it still wouldn't work regardless of any fixes theyve implemented.
i think that's a you problem
@@TwoGunToast I very, very, very (very, very) highly doubt that honestly. And if it does, I genuinely, 1000% believe it would be an issue with the machine you used to use in that case.
I've got a degree in game design and development, and I can't stress enough just how pivotal optimization can be to helping a playerbase run the game. If there's a memory leak (where a game allocates a function or data but fails to terminate or loop the process properly), that can literally stop people from even *loading* the menu in some cases! I can all but whole-heartedly guarantee that KF2 has since fixed every major issue that used to plague the games' early release years.
I would know, myself and many friends of mine have consistently played KF2 all the way since around mid-2017. Of course, back then issues and crashes weren't super uncommon whenever a new patch or update released, but these days it's VERY rare to experience an issue, and is almost always a client-side problem.
Exclusive ps2
Man-Eater LOL a good terrible game
Glad Tripwire got rid of Gibson. His recent decent into full-on brainworms really showed what he's like. I hope it means we don't get a Christian rock soundtrack this time, just give the whole thing to Zynthetic again.
Hope they learned their lesson in how monetization works. I love KF2 but that economy system was horrible. Unironically a Halo CE/Helldivers battle pass system would work. The packs come out, you can grind em out or buy them, simple as.
