Just got a 6” Rough Country Coilover lift installed on this 2020 Toyota Tundra TSS 4x4. So far it feels very smooth. I’ll be updating everyone every month or so!
You should do a video moving your wheels left and right to see if they rub that way we can see how close your wheels are to the frame and the front fender thank you
6" Lift, 22" tires, and fender flares are nice touch but also need sportbar with LEDs and a full-front bumper guard to complete the look. Get rid of the chrome.
Sharp truck. I can’t go this high and keep mine in the garage. 2020 double cab trd off road with 2 inch lift , stock bilstein 4600, 18 inch wheels and 32 1/2 inch ko2s
Maybe touch on backspacing or mods/body chops/trimming to wheel well of any to fit those tires. I got a 2015 tundra and looking to do the same thing. Truck looks nice
scroonie 1976 these wheels had a zero offset 22x10 so we didn’t do much trimming. They did do just a bit as they would rub when turning but it was minimal.
yes I like your setup can you send me the sides rims and tires because I got a 2019 toyota tundra 1794 limited edition and what sides lift you bring it up to and yes your truck looks beautiful nice ride
Nice truck brotha. I just got a 2018 and I want to lift it 6 inches and put 22x12 with 33s, I’ve heard that the TSS and the impact sensors will most likely malfunction and cause problems? Anything with your truck as far as issues with any sensors and if so what did you do to fix it. Thx brotha.
@@primetown956 awesome bro thank you I almost shit my pants after I bought it and started reading about the issues ppl are having and saying these are not liftable. Thx again brotha and nice truck.
Can you tell me what's the offset on your wheels and did you have to do any trimming on your front bottom plastics I see you still have it on I only 2016 1794 edition and I order everything that you want except for the wheels are different
If you could do it over again would you still go with the rough country kit or wait for the bds kit brother? Just wanna see what you would do to see how I wanna do mines. Smooth truck btw bro!
Brett Maximo it’s all in the budget. If you can afford the BDS with no issues then I’d def go with the BDS because of the brand. But don’t get me wrong, this kit is flawless so far. It was affordable and made the truck look 10x better!
Quad County Productions yeah that’s exactly my downfall is budget right now. I mean I love the reviews on the bds but didn’t know if it was worth saving up for it and so far yours is the cleanest with the rough country that I seen. But how is the ride quality? Did you have to re gear?
Looks killer. Looking at the same rc kit. With 35s. Any rubbing? What's your wheels and tire size and width. And offset. Thats the stance I want mine to have
Sorry for the late response. They are still going strong! The issue I can complain about is that my alignment has to be done sooner than normal. But I think that’s the case with a lot of lifts.
Awesome rig man 👍👍👍 Your choice of color, wheels suspensions is spot on 😍😍😍. Just wondering with the laws (Im from Australia and will be moving to Texas shortly) regarding modifcations. Is the wheels and suspension mods all legal? No insurance issues? (Sorry for all the questions, as Im a noob).
@@primetown956 thanks for the reply 👍👍👍. Here in OZ, anything more than a 2 inch lift and 35s will cop you a defect notice. Im not too worried warranty as I will most likely be buying second hand and outright.
@@primetown956 yeah I’ll promise you it’s a -18. Your tires stick out to far for a 0 offset. Plus you have fender flares and they stick out past them. That’s a tell tell sign it has a negative offset. Good lookn truck though man.
@@primetown956 yeah I did. Ordered mine still hasn’t been shipped but do you have to get an alignment everytime you change the ride setting? And do you recommend new upper control arms?
@@demetrio_acosta great question. I’m not sure on the alignment as I’ve never changed mine off the “1” setting. As far as the control arms they work smooth. Upgrading never hurts of course.
What I think is. You lost me at you wasn't going to do any off roading after getting the lift installed. Pavement princess is what we call them around here.

How much tire sticks out of the fender flares??

Really nice truck! I have a 2020 Tundra same color but only leveled on stocks. How much was the kit and install if you don't mind me asking?
How much was the lift and installation cost for you?
Nice Bro! I have an Inferno colored Crew Max going to the shop next week for the same lift but different feet.
Nice ! That lift upgrade is killer!
So with the 6" lift, it should have came with some spacers to install too correct?
How is it holding up, I have heard RC lifts are not worth it?

No issues whatsoever

How are your cv Axcel angles? This same lift I put on my truck and putting my cv Axcels at extreme angles

I’ve been meaning to get around to an update. That should be coming here in a few weeks or so.

Quad County Productions and was the kit worth the bang for your buck so far since you had it?
Brett Maximo no doubt it’s worth it.
Is that a Rough Country reservoir shock?
Looks killer. Looking at the same rc kit. With 35s. Any rubbing? What's your wheels and tire size and width. And offset. Thats the stance I want mine to have
Zero offset 22s on 35s. Very minor adjustments were made to keep them from rubbing.
Hi, did you have to cut your passenger fender liner to mount the reservoir?
Yea some small mods were made to the front fender liners to get it to a perfect fit.
@@primetown956 appreciate the quick reply. Was wondering why my passenger reservoir wasn’t fitting the same as the driver side.
That's clean. Should throw so traction bars on now that'd be sick
How do you like this lift now that it's been awhile?

@@primetown956 I ended up getting the lift and upgraded to the remote resi shocks and struts... love the look of it for sure

How much did it all cost and how is your gas mileage?

Mr. H no issues with insurance but it does void some of the extra warranties if it’s a truck the bank still owns.

Did you have to cur the front and rear cross member ?
Looks amazing
Is the ride smoother than stock??
It’s about the same to be honest.
Beautiful truck
Just picking up my truck what was cost of that kit

Can you tell me if they cut you chassis to do the installation? Is it a 4x4?
That’s a good question, it is a 4x4. I think they may have but I’ll double check.
Are those 35s or 37s?
Don’t you need to redo alignment now that you went from 5 to 1 ??? Just wondering ?
Roberto Arriaga correct, that was done by the shop the same day the kit was installed.
Put some tow mirrors on it and that is my dream truck
Can you share a link for the suspension please
Look beautiful
Have you had any problems with any sencers going on since you lift the truck
Anthony Rodriguez no senser issues thank goodness.

What size are the wheels? What is the offset?
How do you like the Vertex now that you've been running them for a few months?
Zachary McGrew still a very smooth ride at the 1 setting. Definitely worth it considering the price.
@@primetown956 Cool. Thanks for hitting me back. Cheers!

What tires?
Can you do a update on the truck ride quality ?
Santos Macias still smooth! I am getting some squeaking from the sway bar on my left side but I honestly think that’s an installation issue.

do 2020 rc lift kits fit on 2021 tundras?
Best bet is calling them directly. The truck hasn’t changed in years so I’m sure it’ll fit but never a bad thing to double check.
