Long before there was RUclips, I used to do tape trading (VHS). I would find out who had bootleg concerts and contact them. We would exchange lists of shows that we had and go show for show to trade. If not then it was usually about $40 for 6 hours of shows (EP), or $20 for one show (SP). Bootlegs were all like this one, someone filming it in the crowd. A week or 2 later when in came in the mail, man it was like xmas! I would throw parties to watch Metallica from Ottawa '91 or Machine Head from the Spectrum in Montreal '95 and more because we couldn't see it anywhere else unless you went to the show. Ah the good old days. Finding any show I want on RUclips is cool, but not exciting like back in the day when you waited for that tape to show up in the mail box. I've had this show since '94. Bas' voice was really good this night/day.
Yes, and because SR had a guy like Sebastian in the heyday they get to have a revolving door of Sebastian wannabes who 90% of the fans will never accept. Samething with Rob, he should be there as well.

John S Congrats man to you and your wife’s marriage! It’s not easy and to be together that long is a true testament to commitment. Outside of that, it’s hard to believe this was almost 30 years ago. Still love their first few albums but lost interest wether he left the Skids or not. At 45 years of age interests change, friends change, everything! Hard to have the mindset at this moment in time in 2019. Bands I didn’t care for much in 89 like Winger and Stryper are some of my favorite bands today!For me it’s all about the music now and not about how big the venue is. When the scene started to decline I think most of us just didn’t understand that it had to happen and later in life we’d grow to appreciate it in a much different way. The explosion in technology, social media and other stuff that I think kids nowadays will never really understand & appreciate the nostalgia like we do because everything is so accessible that night after a show. You can see the same concert the night before yours. Very sad all around. Sorry for the rant, just miss this part of my life when ya had no cares or worries and the world wasn’t as fucked up as it is now. Best of luck on the next 29 years in your marriage dude!

This world is so different now kinda feel bad for those who will never experience going to the record store and buying your favorite bands tape the day it comes out! And so many more things I could say but just wanted to say your post was great!

You never know what happens in life....1 Second changed everything! He was in Craig Hospital 360 before he died....but we had 41 years!! He was 57.
At the 20:17 mark that girl with the Cinderella shirt was shorter then me and couldn’t see well with taller people in her way so she asked if she could sit on my shoulders. She was really cute. How could I say no? Only regret was not asking her for her phone number. I was 17 at the time. Maybe if she sees this video she can reply to my comment here. Lol. Was such an amazing show also. I still have scotti hills pick and had sebastians plastic cup that he kicked into the crowd but got torn apart from everyone grabbing at it. Lol. Awesome memories. So cool to see this video online.

Back in 1988my classmate borrowed my skid row cassette self debut album, then 9 yrs later I asked for it back, al I got was the cassette case, no cassette..We’re still friends 40yrs later..
What is the difference in filming with a "pocket computer" and this guy right here filming with a camera? That statement is so hypocritical. If I pay for a concert I want to record some of it to watch and relive every once in a while.
Shane M The difference is that it was rarely done then. Rather than one person out of thousands recording the concert you now have thousands recording the concert and one or two actually watching it!!
Who cares? If I buy a ticket to a concert I have the right to experience it however I want. It's not like you can't enjoy a concert and record it at the same time.

Today.. Bon jovi (still) play to 70.000 persons, Bach=700, and skid row=70.
Skid row plays for just as many people as Bach these days. Maybe more.
