    I’ll be glad to give you my testimony chef AJ, dr. Nedley his wife and team saved my brain life since 2018 when I participated in his depression & anxiety program for 10 days and I’ve been plant based for over 20 years. I’m eternally grateful as he taught me not just nutritionally but mentally spiritually and physically as well. It’s an amazing 🤩 program 🙏🏽😘

    I follow the fasting dinner advice-" Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a queen and dinner like a pauper". It doesn't take long for your mind and body to adjust and there is absolutely no problem skipping dinner . There is a rewiring period like with any new habit.

    Vegan for 16 years
    Never eat breakfast. If I do, I fall asleep, I loose my energy. It is highly individualized. I also prefer up to 48 hour only water fasting.

    Chef AJ, you mentioned that you skipped a late dinner once to see if you would be hungry for breakfast the next day and it didn't work. Remember that it takes more than 1 day to break lifelong habits 😉 Just like it takes more than 1 day to lose the excess pounds that were accumulated over the course of years, it will also take more than 1 day to teach your body a healthier eating schedule🙂 (after having followed a suboptimal schedule for six decades). So give it some time😊 Your body can re-learn a new way, just like it learned to enjoy whole foods SOS-free😊 May God bless the work you do to bless humanity 🤗

      If she had a weight problem, mental health issues, or other issues, it would make sense for her to try to change. What she’s doing is working very well for her.

    Another wonderful presentation :) quite the impact listening to them so close together as I did! What he said about the association between having high IQ as a child and becoming veg when grown up was SO interesting ! Makes a lot of sense :) Haha, "I'm vegan because I have a high IQ" xD thank you so much for having him on, so informative and clearly spoken ^^

    I wish that Dr. Nedley defined servings of vegetables. Do potatos and sweet potatos count for the 7-8 servings that found good results in the study he cited?

    • @redgeraniums57
      @redgeraniums57 3 года назад

      I think you can figure out what a serving size is. Maybe Chef AJ could chime in? I don't know if she reads the comments here...one idea...there is a thing called chronometer..it is a website where you can plug in your daily food consumption and it will tell you calories etc. ...that could possibly be helpful.

    • @lindaterzich6632
      @lindaterzich6632 3 года назад

      Thanks Carolyn, not calories or nutrition per se. I wanted to know if in that study, potatos, white and sweet count toward the vegetable count or not.
