Hey everyone! I see a lot of comments asking me how I am doing since my update video in the beginning of January and since I mainly post my health updates on Twitter I thought I would at least mention it here as well for non Twitter followers. So far the treatment is coming along as expected. That being said, it has not been easy. I basically spent most of the first week unable to get out of bed and after that I have slowly gotten better each day and every day keeps getting a bit better. This is going to repeat every new chemo session so do not worry if I go silent some weeks. As I said in my update video, the weekly uploads are not going to be standard for a while. I will continue to focus on my health and family first, and produce content as often as my energy and spirit allows after that. Basically, I love making content and interacting with you the community so much, I have no intention to stop making content. I just have to accept that things take a bit more time at the moment. Thank you all so much for the support you give me and considering how much more effort I have to put in these videos atm, it makes me so glad that you appreciate them! All the love Hayven Ps. For you who ask - do not worry, videos of both the Warlock steed and Blood Knight questlines are coming :)

RIP Paladin. Classic WoW has launched, and soon there will be a whole host of new level 60 paladins looking for insight on their class mount quests. Thank you for making both of these videos, and I wished you could have been here to play with us all over again. I guess in a way, you are here with us.
Yep me and my whole guild of like 100 people left Retail during patch 7.1 and we are all on a Vanilla server one of the guild member host and we are having a blast on our own blizz like private server.
Detective John Kimble Oh really? I guess having questlines for each of your spells, questlines for other class specific things, not being some sort of demigod of . Doesn't count as RPG then....
While class specefic quests are welcome, the totem one (especially the water totem) was tedious and boring as heck, except in the end when you cleanse the water in Silverpine. Doing it the 1st time seemed to be immersive, but when you look back at it, it was seriously not fun.
I'm sorry you never got to see WoW classic official announcement Hayven I'm sure these lost to time videos and their popularity contributed to the push for legacy servers. R.I.P Mighty Paladin.
I'm so happy I had the chance to get this quest done back in Vanilla with my Pally, this brings back fond memories. (: Thanks for the video! I'm pretty curious to know about the Blood Elf side as well.
Eviro Yeah man good old times...vanilla like I say good times because for me (havent played since cata a little bit pandaria) the game is very confusing right now even draenor seems confusing and the artifact weapons.. etc Back in vanilla I used to raid with my dad and to bg's , thats how i got the commander title on a night elf...:'(
+Ca7a LK I quit the game since Cata as well, got to a point in which it didn't feel the same as before. That, and most of my friends have quit as well or weren't as active, but the main reason was because the game changed in a way I didn't like.. Plus I wasn't enjoying the plot of that expansion.
I love learning about class-specific things - I was very excited to see this video! I did the blood elf paladin charger questline (started playing during the Wrath days), but it's been a long time and it would be amazing to see a video of that one as well. All the classes have interesting lore, but I was so intrigued by blood elf paladins that I read tons and tons of lore and information about them online, as much as I could. Thanks so much for this video, and for being so dedicated to WoW history!
vanilla class fantasy "Go to the ends of the world challenge you classes weaknesses and turn them into strengths" legion class fantasy "ok, your the chosen one now send these people on missions"
With the new class mounts coming in 7.2, I thought it would be interesting to look at a class mount questline which used to exist in the game, but that is now lost to history - the paladin Charger mount questline. Enjoy!
I for one really did miss this quest line! :D I played my Paladin back in old days of WoW around 2006, man did I spend most of time getting a group for this quest, fortunately the guild was a very helpful. Btw. thumbs up having the Judgment Armor in this video as you play your Paladin, man getting this was hard as hell
Thanks for your great work, Hayven! My friends don't have accounts/channels here to talk, but we all wanted to say something finally. My Steam and Discord groups frequently share your videos, it is always great to see them. Your work is very much loved there, not even a single bad word. We always share experiences and memories after watching them, sometimes even go explore the places again. Thank you for keeping our community together and giving us so much entertainment!
I'm still happy I did this quest. It wasn't in classic, but it was still _a lot of fun_. We were a group of 5 random paladins and did the quest almost entirely together. It was confusing and long but also felt very rewarding. Good old times...
that fucking pristine black diamond was hundreds of gold and so rare... until blizzard buffed the drop rate, of course, RIGHT AFTER I GOT MY CHARGER...
The warlock quest line would be awesome too see a video of! I've had a friend tell me about it and it sounded equally as challenging! Thanks for all the fantastic videos too, just found your channel recently and its been a treat to watch so many informative vids
Your videos are so fantastic and clean! Brings back the true nostalgia vibes for an old player who no longer plays. Love the videos Hayven (just wish we could get more ^_^) hope you're good bro take care
I did this the last day you could, finishing the quest with 15 minutes to spare before the quest was removed. Totally worth doing. Rest in awesome Hayven.
It's been awhile but I could have sworn there was a few Righteous Orbs in there as well... Everyone back then would bitch about how locks and pallies had it made since they didn't have to pay 1000 gold for their mounts. Well, with all said and done, we probably paid more. I had to wait until my guild had MC on farm before I could con them into helping me with the last part... I read up on the quest at an earlier level and sniped the diamonds on the AH for a cheap price.
Dear Hayven, thanks for all these awesome videos. They are creative, they are interesing, they show me things i don't know or remember (started in BC and i was just about 11/12 years old) and they are just fun to watch. Please keep up the good work.
Just the thinking of never hear your voice doing an awesome Hayven Games video again... Rest In Peace Warrior of the Holy Light. The Light will be with you. Always.
I was very proud to have been able to do this quest line long ago, let alone my dwarf paladin being my first character in vanilla, even though I did the quest line when I was around 9, 10ish. Very happy I got the legacy achievement to prove I did it.
I rode the peasant level 40 warhorse until I hit level 64 during The Burning Crusade. I was never good at making money and didn't have a dedicated guild back in Vanilla.
I remember this questline--brings back memories--fortunately for me I have a very rich and generous guild leader at the time that gave me the money needed to complete these quests. Good times
I remember bringing my Blood DK down from Northrend to help a guildie get this mount. I will never forget his horror and fury when one fine day Blizz turned the pally charger into a racial mount and my Dranai guildie suddenly had a horrible ugly-looking fat pink elephant-thingee instead of the incredibly elegant white horse he and I both had worked so hard to get. He still fumes about this even though we left the alliance not too long afterwards and he ended up getting the Thalassian charger. The ugly fat elephant is history but we still laugh over the huge amount of time and effort we spent on that mount quest getting the mats and the necessary gold.
I did both this quest line and the warlock quest several times to help guildies as they had helped me. Our warlocks would all keep the quest items to help newly leveled locks.
I remember completing this quest. It was long and expensive but I finally did complete it. P.S. I now have redone this quest line in WoW classic. Sorry to hear about his passing. He did a really good job on this video and I would have wanted to see his take on the classic WoW version.
It's way better than the post-Cata class quests you get at level 20 and 50 that aren't unique in any way whatsoever and add no lore to your class and were so lazily done and are so completely identical that it's tragic. You're sent to kill Scarlet Crusade, mess with the Silver Hand's chapel in Stratholme, desecrate Uther's Tomb in the Western Plaguelands (it's not a just-blood knight quest, it's available for any class, but it's great for blood knights), and all sorts of cool stuff. And that's not to mention class quests at other levels that sent you to do things just for your class that nobody else got to do, like look for one of your comrades in Deatholme, discovering him dead and recovering his insignia. It's all really cool, and that and old Plaguelands, Hillsbrad, Scarlet Monastery, Stratholme, and Scholomance would be the only reason I'd play on a private Burning Crusade/WotLK server. And why I'd pay to play a legacy server. Just to get pre-Cata Azeroth back.
Scrounging up the gold from your friends to afford this mount, these sort of memories is what made vanilla wow good. Do the warlock one next and then druid flight form before the belf one. All of vanilla was spent playing with my friends and helping each other out in completing quests etc.
I remember way back when, the cost of a mount particularly a flying mount was one of the main reasons I chose to play as a Druid, I miss the old class quests.
I remember this quest ❤️ my aunt uncle, brother and I all did it together with my cousin. All paladins in dungeons and weeks of work. Found the channel only to find out he passed 😢
I remember doing that quest chain and how much I coveted the mount. I had forgotten all the elements but I remember game friends who helped me complete it a landmark in my Warcraft experience. For the knights of old iron forge guild on the sha'tar and its guild master Tourmaline I 😊
the paladin charger returns as a glorious mount in 7.2. I feel lucky maining a pally. look at this new shaman class specific mount, phew, I feel sorry for them.
Great video Hayven :). I really miss those questlines that were, imho, the cherry on the top in WoW. Really looking forward to Belf quest chain and...maybe a movie about warlock mounts in vanila? ;)
Great video as always! Hope you feeling better btw. Also wanted to comment: The best part for me was the fight at the Ossuary, judging the spirits with the right seal. I dunno... i realy felt so fit and epic as a paladin! And now i am sad because with the revamp of Scholo i can't go back and fight that boss again anymore. I can still do the Zorotian Dreadsteed on my warlock tho... i hope they don't ever revamp DireMaul.
I loved this video! Thanks for highlighting content that many of us has never seen and is no longer available in the game :) Would you be willing to consider doing a similar video for the Warlock Dreadsteed quest line? As far as I remember it was comparable to the Paladin Charger quests line in length and cost, but it's been so many years that I am starting to forget the details.
Such a stark contrast to the harshness of the blood elf one. I can see why they let it go given the blood knight's redemption in helping restore the sunwell.
Hi. I'm glad to hear from you again. I hope, this means, you're healthy. Thank you so much for making this video. Ich never played Paladin, so it was interesting to see, what the counterpart of our noble warlock-class had to do for their mount. :) Can you also make a video about the warlocks mount, please? It was a epic moment getting this mount, too. AND the whole work and time made the paladin / warlock mount so special. You really hand something DONE. ^^
This is one of the things I remember most when playing a pally back in the day. I still think this is one of the coolest mounts in the game. It took me a few weeks to get everything and do the quests cause money was not easy to get back then. Scholomance was hard with 5 people and we did it with me 2 other paladins, a mage, and a priest. This was one of the best quest chains in the game and the sense of accomplishment was unreal because of all the effort it took to get one. Now they just toss you the keys to one with no effort.
Lovely video, should've probably made extra mention how Pristine Black Diamond cost around 200-400g a piece per server before they buffed up the drop rate in late vanilla :P
I remember having to ask some argent dawn guy on the edge of western plaugelands about needing magical horse treats. the npc thought i was nuts and told to to talk to the stable keeper in southshore hillsbrad where the stable keeper was overjoyed that someone actually wanted her magical horse treats

Watching old WoW feels like reliving a past life. A strange, but good feeling.
History Uncovered
if you decide to relive it on a legacy server as an alliance, go on a PvE
Yep me and my whole guild of like 100 people left Retail during patch 7.1 and we are all on a Vanilla server one of the guild member host and we are having a blast on our own blizz like private server.
Achille12345 what was the exact reason you guys left??
This is the true WoW. A game with soul and heart.
Dancho Atanasov I like how wow is considered an RPG, while over the years it has lost almost all of its RPG parts!
Detective John Kimble Oh really? I guess having questlines for each of your spells, questlines for other class specific things, not being some sort of demigod of . Doesn't count as RPG then....
I really miss parts of the game that were like this. It truly added to the feel of the world. The game just doesn't feel the same.
Mao Tse-Pig Of course! The same general public thinks they are entitled to see every part of an expansion just because they paid for it!
While class specefic quests are welcome, the totem one (especially the water totem) was tedious and boring as heck, except in the end when you cleanse the water in Silverpine.

Hayven Games, do the warlock mount quest plz?
Ah the Dreadsteed quest line. What a fun final battle!

I really appreciate you preserving the history of the game as those memories are so important to some. Keep it up! :)

_Hey, gold-plated mounts aint cheap._
Amazing video man, I have been lucky enough to have done this questline back in early BC. That brought me so many feelings
Just the thinking of never hear your voice doing an awesome Hayven Games video again...
Rest In Peace Warrior of the Holy Light. The Light will be with you. Always.
I remember doing this! Man was it rough but the reward at the time was so freaking worth it! Love these videos man!
Love to see videos on the two I did, the Blood Elf one and the Warlock quest just to refresh the memories.
Hope you feeling better as well.
It is huge pleasure for me to find your channel in RUclips. THX and ill enjoy with your masterpiece. :D
I was very proud to have been able to do this quest line long ago, let alone my dwarf paladin being my first character in vanilla, even though I did the quest line when I was around 9, 10ish. Very happy I got the legacy achievement to prove I did it.
You will not be forgotten brother
I really love these legacy movies about WoWs history lost to time! Keep up the work
Rest in Peace, Highlord Hayven. May the Light embrace you and Tirion guide you in the after life.
I was poor in Vanilla and didn't earn enough gold for my charger quest until level 64. I still use it as my ground mount of choice on my paladin.
DrPluton there was no level 64 in vanilla... do you mean 54? Because then you couldnt get the epic mounts anyway
I rode the peasant level 40 warhorse until I hit level 64 during The Burning Crusade. I was never good at making money and didn't have a dedicated guild back in Vanilla.
RIP
I remember doing this quest it's sad that many new player will never experience
The WoW community needs more videos like these. The blood elf video would be amazing to view. Do it big papa hayven!
I remember this questline--brings back memories--fortunately for me I have a very rich and generous guild leader at the time that gave me the money needed to complete these quests. Good times
More of these old questlines please! Great stuff!
It's such a delight to have you back
This is a great breakdown and helps with the current form of Classic WoW.
Keep it going, Hayven; like the videos, love the lore. Been playing since the beginning, the nostalgia!
I did, like many other ppl, the questline back in time so I thank you very very much for the nostalgic feeling you gave me when I watched your video
Glad to see you're back. Always look forward to your videos. : )
Aww man, this video hit me right in the nostalgia for me. I loved this quest and it was so satisfying to complete it. Thanks for the video!
Simply amazing, as a long time paladin this gave me chills. So epic, well done!
I remember this questline... dang it's been ages since I played a paladin. I honestly hadn't known it had gone away until today.
God Bless you and your family. You are not forgotten. 2022.
I was so proud of myself in Vanilla when I finished this quest. It made me sad when it went away.
I did both this quest line and the warlock quest several times to help guildies as they had helped me. Our warlocks would all keep the quest items to help newly leveled locks.
The blood elf part would be great. Also, awesome video. You are amazing !!!
Awesome video as always!
I'd love to see the Blood Elf quest line!
And / or the warlock quest line for their mount!
I remember completing this quest. It was long and expensive but I finally did complete it.
P.S. I now have redone this quest line in WoW classic.
Sorry to hear about his passing. He did a really good job on this video and I would have wanted to see his take on the classic WoW version.
do the blood elf one please, it's been so long =^[
Yeah, back when Blood Elves got their Holy Light powers by steeling it from a captured Naaru.
they were desperated
I'm interested in it because i participated in the paladin mount in vanilla but i played Horde after cataclysm. So i'm curious
I'm right there with ya! I did it in Wrath, but barely remember it.
Scrounging up the gold from your friends to afford this mount, these sort of memories is what made vanilla wow good. Do the warlock one next and then druid flight form before the belf one. All of vanilla was spent playing with my friends and helping each other out in completing quests etc.
Great video as always. Get better soon.
Thanks Hayven! I began WoW juuuust after the mount questline was removed so it is interesting to see.
I remember way back when, the cost of a mount particularly a flying mount was one of the main reasons I chose to play as a Druid, I miss the old class quests.
I'm so sad that I only now found your channel. Rest easy, my fellow Paladin. I can't wait to watch every single video you created!
omg the nostalgia makes me cry, great vid
I remember this quest ❤️ my aunt uncle, brother and I all did it together with my cousin. All paladins in dungeons and weeks of work. Found the channel only to find out he passed 😢
Great video. I'd love to see the blood elf one. I wish you the best with your health.
Great video, Hayven! I really enjoyed it! I would love to watch the Blood Elf questline! It would be very interesting!!
Thank you Hayven, i still main my paladin since this day and still have the items in my bank, nostalgia hit me hard.
Good to see you again ! It was a really nice video, I love paladins' mounts

Warlock one was great too. Hope you're feeling better! Looking forward to your videos!~
thank for the vid i remember doing this quest it was hard. hope you doing well healthwise. Keep hanging in there brother
Thanks for highlighting content that many of us has never seen and is no longer available in the game :)
Would you be willing to consider doing a similar video for the Warlock Dreadsteed quest line? As far as I remember it was comparable to the Paladin Charger quests line in length and cost, but it's been so many years that I am starting to forget the details.
Such a stark contrast to the harshness of the blood elf one. I can see why they let it go given the blood knight's redemption in helping restore the sunwell.
Quality like always... thanks for the vid and I would like to see the blood elf quest!
I never did this old quest chain, awesome to see it though, great video as always
Hi. I'm glad to hear from you again. I hope, this means, you're healthy.
Thank you so much for making this video. Ich never played Paladin, so it was interesting to see, what the counterpart of our noble warlock-class had to do for their mount. :)
Can you also make a video about the warlocks mount, please? It was a epic moment getting this mount, too. AND the whole work and time made the paladin / warlock mount so special. You really hand something DONE. ^^
I remember completing the Blood Elf line before selling my soul to the Hunter class. This was so much fun to watch, Hayven.
Love your videos so much. You should definitely continue
Yeah, do the BE Paladin's and the Dreadsteed, too! I did the Dreadsteed, first on Garona way back in the day, but I forgot a lot of it...
Bra video! Hoppas på att få se mer inom ämnet. Du gör alltid ett bra jobb!
Would absolutely love to see one about the blood elf paladin mount sometime!
Now they just toss you the keys to one with no effort.
great to see that you're back :)
Nice video! Can't wait for the warlock questline too....
Absolutely wonderful video; like doing the chain all over again :D
And yes, folks; the 150 gold was as ridiculous as asking for 500k now. It HURT.
Lovely video, should've probably made extra mention how Pristine Black Diamond cost around 200-400g a piece per server before they buffed up the drop rate in late vanilla :P
I remember having to ask some argent dawn guy on the edge of western plaugelands about needing magical horse treats. the npc thought i was nuts and told to to talk to the stable keeper in southshore hillsbrad where the stable keeper was overjoyed that someone actually wanted her magical horse treats
the feels... thanks for this video, it made me remember so many things lol
Keep it up. You are currently a best wow youtuber!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
George Pachulia he died :(
