- 'Sister Wives' star Garrison Brown shared his newest family addition on Instagram, a cat he'd rescued, and how he saved her life. Garrison, the 25-year-old son of Janelle and Kody Brown, died Tuesday. According to police, he was found dead at his Arizona residence from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
I hope someone will take care of his kitties. It’s terribly sad that Garrison took his life. RIP Garrison

Garrison's roommates had stated that he was intoxicated. This possibly played a big role in what happened. Besides the fact that he had a weapon/weapons. A weapon and an intoxitated and depressed person is a very bad combination. Nothing we say can bring him back.
Somebody I knew in college did the same. An exceptionally bright and beautiful young man. Literally a life wasted. I hope the family can heal.

I think the show didn’t help with his depression at all. I feel so terrible for Jenelle his other moms and his siblings. The pain that he caused in an instant lasts lifetimes. When a parent buries their child they die inside with them.

My heart aches for his family. Please show nothing but support to this family who must now wake every morning to the realization they will never hear his voice or be able to hug him again. You wake every morning hoping against hope your in a nightmare & you'll wake from it & he'll be there, but deep down you know theres no waking from this.
There is no specific reason we can point to in tragedies of suicide, tho we feel there must be something to blame that caused that prson to exit, that is not the case. There is something some ppl have in their minds that is not yet fully understood that allows them to take the action to exit. Many ppl in the world are living through the hell of starvation, slavery, inprisoned, & many think about, & want to exit this world, yet the mind will not allow them to exit, as it is hard wired to survive. If it were traumatic situations that caused us to exit there would be no one making it thru the holicaust, slavery, etc. It is not his parents decision to do the show, or TLC, to blame, It is the mind. So pls be supportive to this family who wakes every morning without their son, placing blame only adds to the pain they have to deal with.

I can relate to the crazy cat lady inside of some of us. I TNVR feral cats and care for a colony + adopted the unadoptable or unwanted in death row, like his last pet.

A heart breaking loss...This family is so screwed up,. Kody is the quintessential narcissist, (in his case with a capital N) All of those kids are paying the price of the absolutely mind bending control and manipulation by their father., all while having it displayed across the world. I hope the rest of these kids will move forward and lead good lives. I don't feel sorry for Kody ..I feel sorry for Janelle.
