such an excellent presentation by each speaker! I am so grateful that your group in particular is speaking out on the ways forward and on the ways in which some are aggravating the situation.
Build resilience into your home. Water catchment, thriving garden (including fruit/nut trees), solar power, electrified heating and cooking, and insulate your home beyond code(code should be seen as the minimum). The sooner this is completed the sooner you can help others as this trend takes off (out of necessity).
There is a saying that, “when we are suffering, nature is trying to teach us something”. We must equally think out of the box as aiming our efforts on the obvious target”.
More talk, talk, talk---., Dr Liu's pics are far more powerful in their teaching. How can various states get that focus and encourage each of us to get dirt/soil under our nails
Looks that we need to continue adapting and mitigating everyday, but we look forward to new strategies because as result of pondarate weight sustainable tackle other new concepts for everyone.
I totally agree with "Restoration is the greatest work of our time". PS: Seriously, many people (especially scientists) really need to learn about politics so that you won't have any false hope that policy makers across the globe (mainly in the west) will do anything at all with current ecological collapse. In contrary, they will do everything to preserve their diminishing power including destroying this world. Period.
It's so right to say that climate activism has to come from the bottom up. But at the same time that's the headache because, well, political power grows out of the barrel of the gun, and most of us concerned citizens aren't that kind of person. Maybe we'll have to be.
The drought map is terrifying. What will we do with little water for crops, little rain for crops and rivers to transport those crops down the Mississippi river. Adaptation is a joke.
Paul strauight up said it, "We have these conferences and we're not really making progress."

We need more alarmism to make climate change great again
