As I see it, we humans are still in a political world of pre-space-age established flat- map territorial sovereign nations in economic competition with each other. We desperately need to somehow awaken every one of us (eight billion) to the need to establish ourselves to a deeper common sovereignty, a sovereignty deeper than national sovereignty, planet sovereignty, that which we must serve, not simply exploit. One of our major problems is a disconnect between money and the planet environment both in every day individual micro economic use and capital macro economic use. Sadly, only twenty four of us billions of humans have seen the the entire planet with the naked eye, an apparently fragile looking blue-white jewel in the blackness of space. The Earth seriously needs to be perceived as our most common primary asset on which we depend for life and survival. Every nation and everyone of us individually needs to value the planet as a higher/deeper sovereignty than national sovereignty. All our national money currencies need be minted and printed with the image of our primary asset, awaken the bankers to need for money to be issued as the planets money inwhich we humans borrow. That the banks no longer own the money they issue. The banks being no longer owned by themselves. Only when the money in one's pocket has the Earth our planet imaged on every dollar, euro, ruble, and all national sovereign currencies will anyone believe politicians, corporations, banks and nations truly are commited to ecological responsibility.

Reversing climate change will first require these two changes. We must correct the dictionary definition of profit and create a Global Economic Model GEM that fits well with the new 'profit' definition. I recommend the following definition of profit: "Profit = our gratefulness and loving care for our Environment, and for the sustenance that it provides to all of us". Clearly this definition does require a completely new Global Economic Model. The central part of the new GEM should be the EPA. EPA members will vote on the best 'Profit' definition that states sustenance is our only actual 'gain' without which we can't live, and states that the environment is our only source of sustenance. As the central hub of the new GEM, EPA members will establish, by vote, all directives related to both, the GEM and climate rescue strategies. Here are just some rough ideas of what the EPA directives might be: 1.) Population: Initially we need a one child per family directive. 2.) In place of income, jobs would have an 'equivalency rating'. Some jobs are still more important and more difficult than others. 3.) All equivalency ratings will increase at the same time if and when the environment becomes healthier. The lowest EquivRate must still be livable. 4.) Everyone who can work will be able, and required, to get jobs. No more expenses, so no more cutting jobs to reduce expenses; thus, virtually no more homelessness. 5.) No manufacturing of useless and unnecessary products. All products will be scrutinized by various rating methods. 6.) Whenever possible products should last a lifetime and or be easily upgradable, so we don't buy the same products repeatedly. 7.) EPA will direct "Work Force Flow". Example: Shoe manufacturer will produce 100yearLife shoes for 3 years, then reduce output to about 1/10 of full capacity, and the majority of shoe employees will be shifted to other work assignments by the EPA. Employees still keep their EquivRate in-between jobs. I know that this is just a rough outline of what we must do, but it's a good starting point. This is our Ark. Please help build it! Making stuff that lasts a lot longer and or be upgradable would go a long way towards reducing our footprint on the environment, but in our current economic model of "profit = income minus expenses" businesses would go bankrupt if they make products that last a long time. I must say that this is horrible marketing that is premised on manipulation, not reason. An example is a chart, see at 39:14, which shows very small nations with "% population increases " of what actual number? Is it and increase from 1 to 2 or 10, 000 to 20,000? Then it shows the rest of the world on the end of chart as if some significantly smaller number. Then, it fails to explain if the increase is partially due to migration from war, starvation, or disaster from neighboring nation. Is it all due to birth rate? Regardless, their "carbon" foot print must be extremely small which brings us to climate change. A "good" alternative given to carbon based fuels was hydro electric dams. This is a proven flash point in countries trying to use the same water source. The other options have proven inadequate at best. All these issues were brought together in a disjointed and non productive manner that offered no viable solutions to anything.
If people make claims that turn out to be false ; do they have to pay a penalty; say firing squad if they prediction doesn't actually prove true but there was a serious economic cost? Catastrophic events are coming.
Reversing climate change will first require these two changes. We must correct the dictionary definition of profit and create a Global Economic Model GEM
that fits well with the new 'profit' definition. I recommend the following definition of profit:
"Profit = our gratefulness and loving care for our Environment, and for the sustenance that it provides to all of us".
Clearly this definition does require a completely new Global Economic Model.
The central part of the new GEM should be the EPA. EPA members will vote on the best 'Profit' definition that states sustenance is our only actual 'gain'
without which we can't live, and states that the environment is our only source of sustenance.
As the central hub of the new GEM, EPA members will establish, by vote, all directives related to both, the GEM and climate rescue strategies.
Here are just some rough ideas of what the EPA directives might be:
1.) Population: Initially we need a one child per family directive.
2.) In place of income, jobs would have an 'equivalency rating'. Some jobs are still more important and more difficult than others.
3.) All equivalency ratings will increase at the same time if and when the environment becomes healthier. The lowest EquivRate must still be livable.
4.) Everyone who can work will be able, and required, to get jobs. No more expenses, so no more cutting jobs to reduce expenses; thus, virtually no more homelessness.
5.) No manufacturing of useless and unnecessary products. All products will be scrutinized by various rating methods.
6.) Whenever possible products should last a lifetime and or be easily upgradable, so we don't buy the same products repeatedly.
7.) EPA will direct "Work Force Flow". Example: Shoe manufacturer will produce 100yearLife shoes for 3 years, then reduce output to about 1/10 of full capacity, and
the majority of shoe employees will be shifted to other work assignments by the EPA. Employees still keep their EquivRate in-between jobs.
I know that this is just a rough outline of what we must do, but it's a good starting point.
