    Good idea! One thing I do want to mention is that allowing for extra seam allowance would make the boot the original size of the old boot. Plus hemming the top edge would give it a tailored look. Thanks for the reel!

    quick tip for around the stick, add about 3/4"- 1" to the tops and straight [parallel] when installing turn the boot inside out or pointing downwards [like a funnel] and zip tie this extended piece. Then the boot folds over the Zip Tie around the stick in normal installed position

    Great video… I was just randomly looking for some ideas and it just so happens that this video was for a hyundai genesis coupe as well…😂. I was able to do this on my own using black faux leather and your rough measurements (with some minimal) modification for mine. Worked out great!!!
