The Sai Oua is good with sticky rice 🍙 and jeow “chili paste/ salsa” The khao poon looks like fish khaopoon . So its only minced fish.

The sausage that you ate is called Sai Ua and is popular in Laos and in Northern Thailand (Chiang Mai). In Laos, it is more popular in Luang Prabang and it was listed in a French-Lao dictionary in 1894. For the Khao Poon, you should try the one with chicken. Thanks for sharing your interesting video.

I feel like when it comes to Loas not many Vloggers have really tasted Loa food properly like not going to the right places watch some of Mark Wein's videos on Loas
Those sausage they are also found in Cambodia and have it own style. And those noodle dish they look similar to Cambodia noodles dishes it look similar. But the meat look different and probably taste different.
You should have gone to the other night market where they sell all kinds of interesting things for decorating your home.

You should not compare Lao and Thai food to each other. They are very different and understand where the food actually comes from. Other than that your videos are great.
I'm Lao, but that doesn't look like Lao sausage. It needs more herbs, spices, and fat.
