- Welcome to another episode of Scrap Mechanic Multiplayer Monday! Today we are carving cars from a giant block of cardboard. We can't place any blocks other than functional essentials like wheels and bearings. All building blocks must be carved from the cardboard. Then we race them!

That could be interesting. I could see one of them doing a really small car using the Modpack (?) to get small engines and invisible bearings :)

@@bernardoramos7842 It can because the building principles are practically the same, minus a few aspects which could be compensated with longer build times
do an explosive missile challenge
2 shooters 2 defenders,
the defenders base will be made out of wood, and they have to shoot the missiles out of the sky
the shooters will have to build an efficient missile that they fire and ride.. if they hit the bases core within 5 minutes, they win
(btw, both teams will build missiles and bases for when they switch)

I really like what scrapman did with his back wheel steering: 1 wheel with 5° steering angle, 1 wheel with default steering angle.
Potential idea 💡 Should do scrap mechanic Top gear edition as a series. Have a workshop challenge to see whos car can make the fastest lap time for your created track. And then after that do like an adventure in cars you make using fuel etc. I’d love to watch that.

ScrapMan, next time you do 4wheel steering, make the back wheels turn the same way as front wheels, but at smaller angle. You might get more stability and less drifting...

I stopped playing scrap mechanic quite a while ago but I still love watching content from you, kAN and whoever else joins you on a given video.
I like how the build process was in this video! I wouldn’t complain to have more normal speed builds on shorter challenges.
MULTIPLAYER MONDAY IDEA: You should make a video where you and all of your friends make a car mostly out of destructible material and then you could have some arena with obstacles and you spawn normal tape bots first and last one to survive wins. then you could do a bonus round with explosive ones

Video idea: transform the garages into cars and then race with them
Challenge idea: build a monorail! You can make a very thin track made of various obstacles and you have to go across it with only one wheel, no thrusters and no glitch.
moonbo's jump was so epic
I'd still really like to see you guys do a stability challenge, where if you need to put your vehicle on a lift, then you have to start over from the beginning on a course with slopes, hills, tight turns, bumps and maybe even a jump.

Kan, instead of building a brick with tank steering, built a semi-brick with double wishbone suspension, which is different, i guess, but it's still kan certified brick

You should do something similar but do a wheelie race challange...who can wheelie the furthest the fastest with cardboard

Multiplayer idea: A race where you build half the car and your teammate builds the other half. Then you each control your own halves of the vehicle and race another team.
Go back through the series. They've done this a couple of different ways already

What about a shop style system? Every package of 4 bearings cost 1 point. An electric engine costs 5, gas costs 10, suspension costs 1 point each, etc. After the build you total up your points, and you give a head start based off of lowest point cost vs highest. Not sure on ratios, but would make people think about a simple build vs a complex one.
How about a twister with spud guns where the longest to survive, in a arena, wins? The cars are made out of cardboard.
Or you could make a car race where only one wheel is powerd.
Seeing a normal speed, unedited building session makes me realise the pain they go through
Evolution challenge? Try using only one of any part you need, (one wheel, thruster, wing, suspension, etc) and as many structure blocks as you want. Each Evo you can add one of each part, but ONLY if your vehicle previously had one. So, no adding thrusters/etc if first car didn't have any.
Scrapmans back right wheel turns normally but his back lift wheel turns at a 5 degree angle

Next week on Mayhem Monday, boat carving!!! Good luck!
Next MM, run this track (because it's awesome) with cardboard cars but make check points, and every time anyone passes a check point they spawn a tape bot. 3 laps, final lap you each spawn 1 bomb bot, first person across the finish line or last person standing wins
The building process of making these cars are almost identical to carving stuff out of wood with chainsaws
To make the steering you should of detached a back layers and got blocks from that

You guys know game Arcanorum? Pretty much steam punk-ish helicopters with weapons attached underneth trying to kill each other, you should make something like this in Trailamkers or SM
Multiplayer Monday Idea : Sideways Race
Man I really need to get back into scrap mechanic
next you should do a race where you have to make a car/boat/plane from previous MM vehicles. load up 3 or 4 vehicles and cut them up then weld together.
Episode idea! Tini mobile race! Have super small cars going up against each other
Demolition olympics: all racers start with the same cardboard brick build your vehicle the more you cut out the less you'll have for the obstacles. 5 obstacles those are designed to test the vehicle (suspension, speed, balance.) And who ever has the most cardboard after the each obstacle gets the points 1st:3pts 2nd:2pts 3rd:1pt 4th:0pt
Might be interested to know that real four-wheel steering turns the back wheels either not at all, or in the same direction as the front ones (at higher speeds) to cut out the fish-tailing you were getting.
There's a perfectly good opportunity to make a Zamboni and you didn't take it
