Hello Many thanks for this I have 1 question though can you automate this with an imaging run or do you still have to manually at the end of the night.If you add flat frames to an imaging run will the flap panel automatically take the flat frames.Great idea though
Cable enables you to control the panel via asiair app DC ports. To automate taking flats after a session, control DC port state would have to change so the panel closes and LED turns on. As far as I know, there is currently no DC port control in autorun? (if ZWO added that, you could fully automate it) What if you make flat frames at the start of the session? :)
Hello, just received my 2 in apparently good condition. I will be using only ASIAir Plus and I am Mac only, no windows computer. Is there a way to download the software to use this with an ASIAir using only a MacBook? If so, how? If not, can you please consider this?

In windows when I select my com port in the control panel it says I don't have access to that com port. Any idea how to fix?

No need to upgrade, flaps are now shipped with 1.0.5 firmware installed
