  • Wheatgrass is an excellent source of many different vitamins and minerals. It is especially high in vitamins A, C and E, as well as iron, magnesium, calcium and amino acids. Of its 17 amino acids, eight are considered essential, meaning your body cannot produce them and you must obtain them from food sources!
    Test-tube and animal studies have found that its antioxidant content may prevent oxidative stress and cell damage.

    Have you tried/sold regular microgreens juice this way?

  • @nancyfahey7518
    @nancyfahey7518 3 года назад

    That's interesting. So 5oz is 5 shots of juice. How much does a tray go for?
    I don't have a juicer so I put it in my nutrabullet with water and strain it. I love the taste.

    In a previous video where you prep,seed, harvest the same grass you used for this video , you said you sell the 4oz for $10 , in a comment you answered you harvested approx 12oz . Your tray value is around $30
    Now where i dont understand is why doing the ice pack at $15 ?? Out of one full tray + more labor involve in it ..
    Could you explain me please ?
    Thanks a lot 🙏

      Ik in previous videos he said you can reharvest wheatgrass about 3 times but the first harvest looks the nicest and he sells those in packages and juices the other harvests because presentation isnt all there. This is just me trying to understand the same thing you guys are 😂

      @@rubenhernandez2403 I think, too, that this is a way to cultivate more customers as to the benefits of wheatgrass. Throwing an ice cube in a blender is as easy as it can be made without having to invest big into juicers. Even if it sold for less than 4oz from tray, it still winds up expanding a customer base and affords him the ability to store it for a year where fresh crops have a shelf life of days and fresh juice has a shelf life of hours.

    Hi Peter, I love your videos BTW. I got an idea for you. I grow wheatgrass at home for you guest what ? My Cat! He goes crazy for this stuff. My mother-in-law's cat does the same thing. They love it as much as catnip. So I will be looking at selling at my local Pets store which also sells raw food for cats and dogs. They have a fridge and freezer. I will also get the word around for people living in apartments and such for a weekly subscription. What do you think?

    Hi... May I know the shelf life of freezed pack and what if stored in glass bottles

    • @PrincetonMicrogreens
      @PrincetonMicrogreens  3 года назад +2

      Definitely don’t want to freeze in glass as it could crack.
      But froze shelf life should be roughly 12 months.

      But I wanted to know... If stored in bottles in normal freezer... Not to freeze it till ice cubes done...
      If stored as juice how long can we expect the shelf life
