This is when Chris Isaak was at his best!! The original guitarist Jimmy Wilsey and was hardly known by anyone out of the SF Bay Area. His biggest hit “Wicked Game” was released years before it became a hit. Thanks to director David Lynch it was used in the movie Wild At Heart and the rest is history!! Long time Isaak fans are all well aware of this fact. I was lucky enough to meet Chris and Kenny at an A’s game back in 1987. They sang the national anthem and ended up sitting by us. Being a drummer myself Kenny and I are still friends to this day.
Two of his songs from the first Silvertone record were used in Blue Velvet.
And, Chris Isaak has only gotten better all of these years later.
Brilliant guitar playing by Jimmy Wilsey
I’m a a huge Chris Issack fan. Thought I’ve seen everything. Obviously I have not. Thank you for sharing! Long live Mr. Carson ❤
Chris Isaak has only gotten better
What an amazing live band. You can see Chris giving kudos to James Calvin Wilsey at the end of You Owe Me. Never in my life did I desire a Stratocaster until I heard how damn good this music was when it was released. The Wilsey sound is in full effect here.
This is amazing, thank you.
He’s Dynamite & Good Looking!!!
Love Chris Isaak and his music.
Thank you for posting this video.
RIP Jimmy
Great live performer and performer
Oh my God! I have never seen this. He is the Coolest!

@@allanjones6415 It was the first time I ever heard or saw Chris Isaak and I've been a fan ever since.

'Wicked Games' is one of my all time favorite songs.

What the hell is JCW plugged in on MIDI for “Heart Full of Soul?” Damn, I always thought those were keyboards on that album. It’s freakin’ Wilsey! Always knew he pioneered digital recording, but DAMN!
🤘🏻😎🎸 🥃
He reminded me of Ricky Nelson back then in his younger days
Yardbirds!!
My God, is this the guy who sings, "I Wanna Know What Love Is (sic?)????!!! Never saw him before. This performance is great, but hate to say it, if I was in the audience watching him sing that crooning slow one above, only the devil would know what I'd be throwing at him onto the stage...How old is this video? (The baggy suits respectful, maybe should make a comeback, current togs are so crappy.)Thanks, much fun and insightful! It's a keeper. 👍✨
'I wanna know what love is' is sung by Lou Graham of Foreigner.
Agree in all areas of your sentiment, except of course on hitting on Chris as I am a man.
I’m also 64 years old same generation as Chris, I wholeheartedly agree with the 80s baggy pants, shirts and ties and colorful clothes, they were my favorite then, right now (not because I’m old) but the way the general population dresses is almost an embarrassment in every respect, style and substance is out the window giving away to falling pants for men and women on flip-flops.
Is "Wicked Game" the song you're thinking about?
@@quintbromley2112 Thanks, I never saw Lou, either. Both performers are great. I would get the cd for Foreigner first, tho. Heard that song only a few xs, and no one could tell me who was singing it! So Thanks again!
@@nomadscavenger My pleasure. 🍻
I, I, I, I....
✌
A cross between Elvis and Roy Orbison
I Loved him, what Happened to him?
He still tours, but I don't think he's recorded original content since 2015.
He's on tour now sounding fabulous ❤
New Christmas album out last year❤
Good Elvis impersonation
Kinda like the Stray Cats.
Remember when Jim Carrey kissed Chris at some award show
You forgot Chris Isaac is elderly now. 🇺🇸☄️... with maximum hold Ulta- Net hair spray.
Oh no is he dead?
That’s what I was wondering also.
No.
No but Bobby Caldwell just died.
Chris Isaak is fine. The wonderful guitarist by his side, though--Jimmy Calvin Wilsey--died a few years ago, far too young.
No, of course not. Chris stills on tour and sounds amazing but ...Jimmy Wilsey, his guitarist died in December 2018.
RIP JIMMY. 🔥🎸
