I think he is right, mission switch doesn't have the same appeal as the other missions. It might be because it's newer and there are a ton of games on it. I think he should have done a handheld mission like DS games, seeing how much he loves to sell the systems. But it also doesn't help that he sells the games from his missions after we were invested in him collecting them like after the mission GameCube. It would have been nice to see the other mission collections in the man cave like we do in chase's videos with their collections in the background of their videos.
He's just flat out a reseller. Which is fine...but don't spout the "oh this is from my childhood it has nostalgia etc. nonsense like he does." Selling the gamecube collection off without even playing half the games from his childhood changed my perspective of him. I don't think he's a bad person...but his joy comes from the hunting and reselling not playing and collecting..so he should just be transparent.
Why does it matter if he gets rid of some of the ones he doesn't want?
Those are "watching the hunt" "checking off a list" videos, not "watching them sit still on a shelf in the background" videos.
@@DFDamer71 Did you not hear him say he wanted them because of his childhood and the series started out with him playing one of the games he would buy at the end of the episode. Yes the hunt was fun but feels empty after he sold most of it and this new switch series has no heart because you can tell he isn't enjoying it. I rather he just did a series of him getting money for his man cave upgrades.

I will say this. I dont mind youtubers not meeting "upload deadlines", because that means you are working on something your are happy to put out to the viewers.
Take your time Caleb, I really enjoy your videos, though I have to admit that the videos where you meet with other people are my favorites, be it visiting Retro Rick, doing crazy stuff with Riff (like in Vegas) or visiting other friends' shops.
I feel like this is what suits you best, exchanging experiences and jokes with your friends and people you like. One can see that you are having a great time and that's what we are here for.

Mission Switch was a flop due to the fact that so many of these games are current, and therefore easily accessible to find. The GameCube Gambit was more enjoyable, as more effort had to go into finding those games locally at stores and shows, due to their age and rarity. Also, I think a number of viewers had a bad taste in our mouths after the ending to the GameCube series, which resulted in Caleb selling off so many of these games that were "part of his childhood dreams." Honestly, I feel like many of us felt lied to, and then in result, the luster of the PS1 and Switch series did not keep our interest.
I do enjoy the random videos of hunting, collabs with other gaming RUclipsrs, etc., and look forward to many more of those in the future!

Caleb, I wanted to warn you the moment I saw Shantae Pirate's Curse on your list...it's similar to Pokémon Box. Hard to find and ridiculously expensive. Bro I recently stopped doing a schedule on my channel and I swear mentally I’ve felt a million times better. Before I was constantly trying to put together footage to hit that weekly goal and now I’m just taking my time with things. Do what’s right for you at the end of the day!!
if I remember everything right about that console it does exist it's out there I think it was a special reward if I remember right or it was for a certain staffs but I think there were only like three of it
I've thought for a while that the Mission Switch seriers has become stale, I've never personally been the biggest fan (I still watch every one cause I love your videos) but in comparison to series like Gamecube Gambit, it didn't have the heart. Getting random limited time run games that nobody has any emotion towards just doesn't hit the same way as finding old gamecube games you can get excited about seeing from your childhood.
My personal favourite videos of yours were when you went to pawn shops, game stores like Ryans (game exhange?) and done big bulk deals. Love those videos. But I think it's best for you to focus on doing what makes you excited because that will always translate into the best video. We'll all watch whatever you put out.

Hi Caleb and Caleb's subscribers, I have a question - does anyone know how Caleb came up with his "wishlist" for his switch games? It seems to be a fairly random mish mash of games. Are they games that Caleb enjoys are really wants to try out or are some just for "collecting". The weird thing is even Caleb sometimes questions whether certain games are on the list (like in today's episode he opened the Super Rare box with Creaks and he didn't seem to recognize the game but also wasn't sure if it was on his list). Just wondering...

It hurt to see you buy Rocket league for 35 even if its the collector edition the dlc are surely redeemded and since a year and the half the game f2p thank to epic buying psyonix so i do think 35$ for the case is quite a lot
I enjoy the game hunting, yard sales, pawn shops and wherever you find them. I also enjoy the crazy fun videos with the boys! This channel has kept me busy and entertained while taking care of my father who is in the last stages of dementia. It’s been my escape.

ive noticed the difference in quality of vids.. i think it would help to hit all the OG spots like pawns and thrifts and stuff... u know, make it relatable. gamecube gambit was like the claim to fame and that felt like someone actually trying to make it.. while reselling. watching now, feels like a youtuber trying to make content reselling. you obviously dont even need to resell seriously anymore to make a living- but thats the battle. bring it back to the roots. take a note from kodywithaK. he is up and coming and goated

Just a suggestion… I’ve been collecting funko pops for a while and love watching Funko pop video creators and one thing I enjoyed is watching them do whatnot live auctions.. since you are already affiliated with whatnot.. why not screen and video record yourself buying from the auction. Should look at what switch games you interested in or that’s on your list and plan accordingly.
On another note, not really a video gamer enthusiast.. just I enjoy watching your channel 🙌🙌🙌
