Obviously not as bad as Flintstones. But I actually had a similar experience at Retro World Expo this year.. Nothing like finding a game at one vendor and missing it somewhere else, then spotting it for 30%+ cheaper after you bought it. Again, no where near as expensive as Flintstones, but I was definitely kicking myself.
All part of game hunting and collecting experience. Can't tell you how many times I've bought something and then later finding it cheaper somewhere else. You just never know!
When the guy mentioned "The Karate Kid," it reminded me that there is another Karate Kid movie coming out next year. This movie will star both Ralph Macchio and Jackie Chan.
Love to see what other people's game shops look like when you go game hunting. That Mario soda advertisement sign was AWESOME. I'd def hang that in my gaming room if I owned it. Did you guys make an offer for it or find out how much it's going for?
I played romance of the three kingdoms with my best friend every weekend in 6th grade, we'd save our allouancees and buy snacks and soda and rent it for 2 days and just play all weekend long until we had to return it. We would switch koei games every month, We loved those kinds of games. Uncharted waters, airbiz, any kind of simulation game. Great memories. If I'd known what they would be worth now I woulda never returned them! lol
I have a huge collection of TMNT Action figures. Unfortunately when I was a kid I didn't think about keeping them in box . I was too excited to play with them.

My father knows how crazy I am about vintage and retro… thing is I never knew about this shop and he goes to Silk City Coffee daily. At the very first second of the video the Gulf Station is shown the house is just up the hill and behind it. I’ve got a call to make, so disappointed.
I saw a Tommy Hilfiger "gaming" mouse and keyboard somewhere online recently, they looked like crap...not sure what their fascination with electronics is

You come off as $$$ predators, and I get it, you have to make money, but does your store or you're youtube? Go in by yourself as opposed to the team method... feels predatory..

I watched a Sharmelon vid the other day where she was clearing out an old house she bought in Japan, and there was what looked to be a vintage Superman bin or umbrella stand. From the look of it, I wouldn't be surprised if it was from the 60's or even earlier.

Approx 25 years ago, I worked at Funcoland which is now Game Stop. Anyway, we sold those GX TVs exclusively at the time.
