@@simonboisjoli316 Awesome! 🤘🏻 I always show my personal guitar students the song “Children of the Grave,” and point out how heavy that was, especially for 1971!

I’d have to go with Paranoid as my fave. So many great options to pick from though!

The B flat is not played that way. Same case of paranoid riff.

Interesting. Does Tony play the Bb power chord at at the 6th fret? I was wondering if he would do that, but it seemed like it would be so inefficient from the low E power chord to be jumping back-and-forth. I looked for a video Of him playing it live but couldn’t find one. I’d love to know if you know though! Thanks Luiz!

@@RickStack you play it right, but the tuning is in C# standard, so everything is up three frets. I just checked the footage from their 2013 tour and it is very apparent. Can't find anything wrong with the Paranoid Riff you teach. thanks for your time spent on these videos.

@@rickfromberlin1722 You’re definitely right about the C# standard live in 2013. I noticed that as well recently. But being that the first power chord is the pitch of a low E do you know if Tony was tuning down back then? (On that album) I would think the only way to know for sure would be to see a live video from that time period. I noticed that they do play in C# standard on Children of The Grave.” And that was recorded in 1970 or 1971, so I guess it would make sense that he would do C-sharp standard. That blows me away. That riff is so heavy for that time!!! I probably play it the way I do mostly from being in bands years ago where we played almost every song in standard tuning and occasional drop D song. You’re very welcome. I’m glad you get something out of them, Rick!
