    Nice. I wonder if the cover is sturdy enough to hold zero on the optic. Very good looking upgrade!

      no it does not because of the vibration sadly

      Seen videos where people remove the cover completely, reinstall and it kept a zero out till 400yards.

      it is, I have TWS covers on several rifles and i've never had any trouble in the 10+ years I've been using them. just make sure you adjust them correctly

    thats not a kalashnikov though. looks like a zastava to me right? did you have to file anything on the recoil assembly button?

      @mammoths_4229 Год назад +1

      No you don’t I have one for m70. He does need to take a flathead to the part where the cover hinges on tho, to make it fit tighter. And bend in the cutout on the side of the dustcover to ensure that as well.

      He is just saying kalashnikov style rifle

      M70 for sure 👍 at the start of the video you can see the button for the dust cover on the side of the receiver, plus it’s got the bulged trunion. I’d say m70 all day

      Zastava is still a Kalashnikov. It’s a Kalashnikov made in Serbia.

    Why not use the side mount? It will hold zero better

    • @Phriqhi
      @Phriqhi Год назад +1

      Some rifle mount combos have a left to right offset on the mount over the bore. These covers have been shown to keep zero very well

    • @COD2122638
      @COD2122638 7 месяцев назад +2

      You have to take the sidemount off to access the dust cover, dumb idea

    • @thepatriotsrage661
      @thepatriotsrage661 5 месяцев назад +2

      Not true. The TWS, MI and Zenitco all hold zero just fine, this has been tested by various folks already.

      If you have an underfolder you can't use side mount
