All Too Well is only known within the fandom, though. It has become something special between Taylor and us, her fans. But people outside the fandom aren't all that familiar with ATW especially since it was never released as a single. I still regard it as her magnum opus to date, and personally my favorite TS song of all time.

"All Too Well" is my favorite Swift song, in my personal opinion one of the best written songs on any of her albums. It's full of emotion and anecdotes that speak to that emotion like "we're dancing 'round the kitchen in the refrigerator light" but also powerful lines that are more abstract like "maybe we got lost in translation."

I had "all too well" song in my phone for so long but i never heard it... I underestimated the song for some reason. Day before yesterday i was kinda sad.. Wearing headphones...listening to some songs... And the song came. All i remember is that i concentrated so hard on lyrics...there comes in a line in the song which is like -'we're dancing round the kitchen in the refrigerator light'..I actually got tears in my eyes when the song ended...just bloddy how someone can write so beautiful???!! Enchanted and All too well (both in top 2) are her best lyrical work from both speak now and red, not surprised that they're up here...but they're not really underrated. I think everyone has embraced these songs to their biggest extend without either being singled, and the fandom LOVES these two. Underrated songs are probably the more forgettable/less powerful songs, but that's just my opinion Also, notice how many of these are from Red? That album was such a masterpiece. For me I kinda wish Long Live was more than just the honorable mention. It, Last Kiss, and Dear John were the ones I always skipped as a kid (no clue why) but I was going back on memory lane and resisted my habit to skip em and Long Live is actually a BOP.
Long Live is extremely beautiful! It is one of the best fandom songs of all time! When I first heard it, I cried (I still cry over it to this day) knowing that it was a message from her to us, her fans.
There's one song that I don't think enough people know about and it's called "The Moment I Knew" on Taylor's Red Deluxe album. It's so painfully underrated and such a beautiful piece of art that I really wish for more people to listen to and understand.

Julianne Briscoe Awwww, someone is a hater. SOOOOOOO edgy. -My god, if this was 2005 I'd say you listen to My chemical romance- Sadly for you that whole song does play like a long poem, not a song. It doesn't have a chorus per se, every verse of the song is just that: another verse. And it tells a really well told story. It's not about smelling scarves, with lyrics like "you tell me about your past thinking your future was me" and "you call me up again just to break me like a promise, so casually cruel in the name of being honest" In true Taylor Swift fashion it's a break up song. It's about a beautiful relationship coming to an end, and how they both remember it for what it was. It's also about Jake Gyllenhaal. So there is that on that.
All Too Well should of been released as a single, but it’s not exactly underrated per se, it’s at the top (or near the top) of every single list ranking Swift’s songs that I’ve ever seen, including billboards and Rolling Stones. Its absolutely adored by Swift’s fanbase, it almost feels like blasphemy when a Swift fan doesn’t list All Too Well as one of their favorite songs of Taylor’s. The song has almost taken on a sort of mythic quality to it in the years since Red’s release with fans waiting (hoping) for the day they can hear the 15 minute original cut and discussion of the famous missing scarf reemerging every autumn (I even saw an article this last Fall online from a reputable publication that was headlined something like “It’s autumn in New York Again, time to go back to the eternal autumn question of where is Taylor Swift’s long lost scarf from All Too Well”). Maggie Gyllenhaal, sister of Jake, has even been asked about the scarf on talk shows, 5 years after the song first game out.. that said, I get your point that the song is so good, no matter the accolades it gets it wouldn’t be enough and would still be underrated. Agree about Getaway Car too. That song needs to be released as a single like yesterday.

I think So it goes is very underrated too. Delicate is very appreciate among fans, but I'd say the next single is I did Something Bad but she could release whatever she wants and if she doesn't promote it, then it's not going to be a hit or a successful song.

The songs on the radio are just a door into a world of emotions and songs that will make you hook!
I agree with this list but Ronan has to be on the list, for me. it’s such a beautiful song that has such a powerful meaning behind it that many don’t know. Ronan will forever be one of my favourite songs as the lyrics hold such a special meaning and every time I hear it I think of Ronan and what a beautiful boy and gorgeous soul was lost. Taylor swift has a huge heart that, in this case, can turn something so devastating and so tragic into something a little less bitter.
I had never heard of Ronan until Red Taylor's Version came out yesterday. I didn't pay much attention to the lyrics the first time I heard it until the end. I started to notice how sad the lyrics were and wondered what the story was behind it. I went to RUclips and searched the song and found an interview the parents of Ronan did and it made me cry the next time I listened to it. Ronan had such beautiful blue eyes and seemed like such a sweet little boy. Sweet loving soul taken too soon. The good people are always taken too soon

I think it is underrated as far as being downloaded and not higher on the charts. Not everyone buys albums so they don't know the songs. I have all her albums so I know these songs, but they never get the air time on radio stations, etc..

Meanwhile to anyone who does care about more than a cool beat and relatable lyrics, All Too Well is obviously a masterpiece, and therefore in that sense I don't think it's underrated, it's just not as marketable as, say, Shake it off for example.
I agree with you. Some people just like songs that are catchy. Some people listen to and care about the lyrics. But I have always favored a song that "speaks to me from the heart"...Taylor is great at that. That's why I love All Too Well and Clean for another one. But I also enjoy the catchy ones like Shake it Off and We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.
Kirangopal Singh The Lucky One is so underrated... That song really shows the facts and has great lyrics. Also Swift's voice, the melody and the tune suits so much, you feel like you're gonna cry

Im casually listening to taylor for years then in 2019 i was in an emotionally challenging stage of my life, i discovered clean and brought a huge impact to me and helped me cope with my emotional battle, which made me a swiftie. Then i discovered All Too Well in March 2020 and became my Top Song on Spotify Wrapped for 2 years.
All too well is taylor s best song hands down, imo. Makes me choked up everytime i hear it and it has lyrics that seem to just hit you like a wave when you hear them. It’s a beautiful ode to an ended relationship and the raw pain of memories that faded and crumbled. I iust really love all to well.

Wearing headphones...listening to some songs... And the song came. All i remember is that i concentrated so hard on lyrics...there comes in a line in the song which is like -'we're dancing round the kitchen in the refrigerator light'..I actually got tears in my eyes when the song ended...just bloddy how someone can write so beautiful???!! I think everyone has embraced these songs to their biggest extend without either being singled, and the fandom LOVES these two. Underrated songs are probably the more forgettable/less powerful songs, but that's just my opinion

For me I kinda wish Long Live was more than just the honorable mention. It, Last Kiss, and Dear John were the ones I always skipped as a kid (no clue why) but I was going back on memory lane and resisted my habit to skip em and Long Live is actually a BOP.

There's one song that I don't think enough people know about and it's called "The Moment I Knew" on Taylor's Red Deluxe album. It's so painfully underrated and such a beautiful piece of art that I really wish for more people to listen to and understand.

It doesn't have a chorus per se, every verse of the song is just that: another verse. And it tells a really well told story.
It's not about smelling scarves, with lyrics like "you tell me about your past thinking your future was me" and "you call me up again just to break me like a promise, so casually cruel in the name of being honest" In true Taylor Swift fashion it's a break up song. It's about a beautiful relationship coming to an end, and how they both remember it for what it was.
It's also about Jake Gyllenhaal. So there is that on that.

All Too Well should of been released as a single, but it’s not exactly underrated per se, it’s at the top (or near the top) of every single list ranking Swift’s songs that I’ve ever seen, including billboards and Rolling Stones. Its absolutely adored by Swift’s fanbase, it almost feels like blasphemy when a Swift fan doesn’t list All Too Well as one of their favorite songs of Taylor’s. The song has almost taken on a sort of mythic quality to it in the years since Red’s release with fans waiting (hoping) for the day they can hear the 15 minute original cut and discussion of the famous missing scarf reemerging every autumn (I even saw an article this last Fall online from a reputable publication that was headlined something like “It’s autumn in New York Again, time to go back to the eternal autumn question of where is Taylor Swift’s long lost scarf from All Too Well”). Maggie Gyllenhaal, sister of Jake, has even been asked about the scarf on talk shows, 5 years after the song first game out.. that said, I get your point that the song is so good, no matter the accolades it gets it wouldn’t be enough and would still be underrated.

I agree with this list but Ronan has to be on the list, for me. it’s such a beautiful song that has such a powerful meaning behind it that many don’t know. Ronan will forever be one of my favourite songs as the lyrics hold such a special meaning and every time I hear it I think of Ronan and what a beautiful boy and gorgeous soul was lost. Taylor swift has a huge heart that, in this case, can turn something so devastating and so tragic into something a little less bitter.
I had never heard of Ronan until Red Taylor's Version came out yesterday. I didn't pay much attention to the lyrics the first time I heard it until the end. I started to notice how sad the lyrics were and wondered what the story was behind it. I went to RUclips and searched the song and found an interview the parents of Ronan did and it made me cry the next time I listened to it. Ronan had such beautiful blue eyes and seemed like such a sweet little boy. Sweet loving soul taken too soon. The good people are always taken too soon

I think it is underrated as far as being downloaded and not higher on the charts. Not everyone buys albums so they don't know the songs. I have all her albums so I know these songs, but they never get the air time on radio stations, etc..

Meanwhile to anyone who does care about more than a cool beat and relatable lyrics, All Too Well is obviously a masterpiece, and therefore in that sense I don't think it's underrated, it's just not as marketable as, say, Shake it off for example.
I agree with you. Some people just like songs that are catchy. Some people listen to and care about the lyrics. But I have always favored a song that "speaks to me from the heart"...Taylor is great at that. That's why I love All Too Well and Clean for another one. But I also enjoy the catchy ones like Shake it Off and We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.
